We drove 2 hours to this dealership because of their selection. The salesman Aaron was great. We didn’t feel any pressure. He was patient and communicated our needs exactly. Matt was great as well! Poor communication When I made the appointment for a 20k service I told them I would need a ride and would need to be to work by 8 am. Drop off was 7:30 am and when I ar When I made the appointment for a 20k service I told them I would need a ride and would need to be to work by 8 am. Drop off was 7:30 am and when I arrived there was no record of a ride. They finally got one for me a few minutes after 8 am. I was told they would do the recall on the headlight which was fine. I received the text says I could text them with questions/concerns as well as a phone number. I sent a text at 12:11 asking when it would be done and received no response. I finally got at 2:48 telling me my car was almost done and would receive a call. I called at 3:28 using the number provided and got an “out of service” message. I immediately got a call back saying it was done and did I need a ride. I said yes and was told one would be sent. The ride showed just after 4 pm. I get to the dealership and was told it took so long as they did a 3 - hour software update. That was news to me and express earlier in the day I needed my car back that afternoon. When they pulled the car around around 4:20 pm as the employee gets out of the car, the airbag light came on so they took it back again. After 10 minutes someone came out as per the manager, and asked why I was still there. I told her and she went back in to find out. I just followed her back in and the manager asked my name. I explained the situation and said I had to leave within 5 minutes as I had an appointment. I either needed my car or one to drive. He went back and retuned to say they were bringing it back and the next time he would have a car for me. There was another gentleman there also waiting and he had told them at 4:20 that he had to be to work at 4:45 and after him telling them multiple times, he still didn’t have a car at 4:40 which is when I finally left. Seems to be a big communication/process failure. This happened last time I had my vehicle in there for a tire issue. May need to take my car 40 miles away to have serviced in Norman. I will NOT be happy if that is the case but I can’t continue to have my car serviced in that manner. More

Poor customer service We purchased our Volkswagen Routan minivan in March of 2018 When purchased we noticed it was shifting hard from 1st to 2nd gear. Took it to the edmond We purchased our Volkswagen Routan minivan in March of 2018 When purchased we noticed it was shifting hard from 1st to 2nd gear. Took it to the edmond dealership for service was told that it was operator error. We recently took it back in because our key phob was malfunctioning and The van was still shifting hard. We were told that there was a recall on the software that could potentially fix the hard shifting and that our key phob was corroded. We were told the new keys were ordered and the software recall was complete. Started to drive off the lot and immediately we could tell the hard shifting was not better. Come to find out the recall was not done as previously told it was. They did order the new keys then was told they could not reprogram my new keys or do the recall because they had lost the licensing that allowed them to do so. I picked up my van and was told they would call me in about 2 weeks once the licensing was obtained. 3 weeks later I called they still had not obtained the licensing and weren’t sure if they were going to because of the cost to obtain it was so great But they would look into it and someone would call me back same day. I never received a call back from anyone at the edmond Volkswagon dealership and at this point it’s been a month and half. I then proceed to call the OKC dealership and was told only Norman could do my recall and reprogram my keys. I called the Norman dealership and scheduled an appt and they got it all done the same day and even gave us a loaner vehicle to drive while we were waiting on our van to be worked on because he didn’t know for sure how long it would take to do everything. Come to find out the recall for the computer software was from 2012 and should have been done before the van was ever sold off the lot a year ago and that the edmond dealership could have done our recall the first time it was brought in but it’s time consuming and difficult and I guess they just didn’t want to complete it. Norman completed everything that was needed to be done in a timely manner and their communication was perfect! The edmond dealership however was awful and because of that I will be driving from edmond where I live to Norman to have any needed work done on my van because apparently the edmond dealership no longer wants my business. More
Very curtious and helpful Ryan was awesome. He came out and actually took me serious and listened to my concerns about a knocking noise coming from the top end of the engine in Ryan was awesome. To help make me feel better about the deal they threw in some extras and a full tank of gas. Not to mention Volkswagen makes your first payment for you. Wow, that’s unheard of! All In all my month long search for a new ride is over and I am grateful Allen Samuels Volkswagen made it happen. I definitely recommend them. More
