Good service overall. Brought my 2019 VW Jetta in for an oil change (which now I have a puddle of oil under my car in the garage after they changed the oil) and some minor diagnostic work for a door handle, speaker rattle, loos I have a puddle of oil under my car in the garage after they changed the oil) and some minor diagnostic work for a door handle, speaker rattle, loose seat track and a humming noise from the engine/transmission. Scheduled an appointment for 5/19/22 at 7:30am. Dropped the car off and the car sat that entire day without being looked at. The next day, Friday 5/20/22 the car sat until about 3pm before the tech started to look at it. I have a dashcam installed in my car with LTE data connection that I’m able to review and look at in real time from my iPhone. A few things to note here for the 1 star review… When dropping the car off, the lot porter took my car from the service drive to the parking lot where s/he then turned the radio volume to near maximum and could see them messing with all the settings in the display. They then sat in the car for a few minutes eyeing the dashcam after they noticed it and then got out and went about their business. The following day when the actual tech that was working on my car started to look at it, they didn’t do anything wrong per se, but a few of my concerns he barley even acknowledged (while watching him diag the problem). For instance, the loose seat track I specifically told the advisor “while sitting in the seat, if you go to adjust yourself or move around the seat you can feel the lower seat cushion move about 1/2 an inch”. The tech when diagnosing this concern, stood outside of the vehicle, reached in through the door opening and grabbed the seat BACK and tried wiggling it. Of course that part of the seat didn’t move because that’s not the part of the seat that I’m having a concern with. So he marked that concern as him not being able to duplicate. And then with the humming noise from the engine transmission, I specifically told the advisor “there is a humming/growling noise from either the engine/transmission during light to medium acceleration right after a gear change around 27-29 mph”. The tech took the car for a test drive and in the video you can see the front of the car raise and 👂 the engine rpms wind up as he ‘gunned’ the car multiple times with heavy acceleration. Obviously he didn’t get the noise to duplicate because that’s not when the noise occurs as I had stated with the advisor. After seeing this and seeing the Repair Order with all of these ‘could not duplicate’ notes, I called the advisor and asked if I could come in today Saturday 05/21/22 and take a test drive with the tech so that I could help point him in the correct direction and show him first hand the concerns I’m having. The advisor said I could come in anytime today. So I told her I would be in about 10am. I took time out of my Saturday, spent $10 on an Uber to the dealership and when I arrived I was promptly and sternly told that the tech was working on 4 waiters and he wouldn’t be available for about 3 hours. I was asked if I could come back where I promptly said no. I’ve already taken time out of the day this morning to do this test drive with the tech and I’ve got plans throughout the day and am unavailable to take more time out because the advisor is incompetent in communicating with her techs and coworkers. I even asked the advisor and whom I assume was the service manager standing next to her if I could take them for the test drive drive to show them exactly my concerns with the vehicle so that they then could show the tech when he had some availability after the waiters. Clearly that answer from them was also a stern ‘no’. All in all, very disappointed with the service at this dealership, not pleased with how the lot porter treated my vehicle and not pleased with the service departments complete disregard to my time even with me going out of my way to help with duplicating the concerns with my vehicle. I will not be returning to this dealership. If you have a Volkswagen, I highly recommend you save yourself the trouble and headache and just take your vehicle to VW OKC. More
