Dishonest? I took my 2012 Altima in because it randomly shuts completely down while moving down the road. The engine stops running, all of the dash lights, gauge I took my 2012 Altima in because it randomly shuts completely down while moving down the road. The engine stops running, all of the dash lights, gauges, etc. shut completely off. I have been able to pull over, get it in park, and restart it. It will then run like nothing is happening., until the next time. So, the service had my car and they called me with the diagnosis & estimate. They said the problem is the transmission and I need to replace it. Now, I don't know much about cars, but I do know that a transmission makes the wheels turn. Period. It has nothing to do with the power to the dash lights & gauges, etc. I truly believe that the service center thought I wouldn't know the difference because I'm a female and they could take me for a lot of money. This is what every woman has to worry about with mechanics, but I really expected better from the dealership. I have bought several cars, including this one, from Bob Moore. I won't do it again. I won't ever be back. I picked up my car, paid the $99 diagnostic fee and declined the new transmission. I am now hunting for an honest mechanic while my Altima, which I love, is simply sitting in my driveway. Luckily, my fiancé has an extra vehicle that I can drive, because I was told there were no loaner cars. Those mechanics would've had me without a vehicle for however long replacing the transmission would take. That doesn't work for people who have jobs and lives. The bottom line of this review is to say that I'm very disappointed in this experience with Bob Moore. More
