Finance person lied to me I told the finance person to hold my check for 24 hours since it will take that time to get the funds in the account since I am paying cash for the ca I told the finance person to hold my check for 24 hours since it will take that time to get the funds in the account since I am paying cash for the car. He said he will not cash the check for 24 hours, but he cashed it before I even left the dealership. Not only did my bank charge me a $35 insufficient fund fee, I just found out, two days later, that they returned the check so now, the car dealership did not even get their money!!! I know it is their fault since I told them to hold the check, but I now have to make sure I get the check to them as soon as possible. I hate being lied to. This would not have happened if they just held my check for 24 hours like most dealerships do. Also I am embarrassed at the bank since this is not the way I operate. More
