IT MUST BE ME- I leased my vehicle from this dealership 3 years ago. After what I would consider a less than perfect buying experience I had a not so pleasant first service experience. I decided to leave the years ago. After what I would consider a less than perfect buying experience I had a not so pleasant first service experience. I decided to leave them alone and went to the other BOB to have my vehicle serviced even though it meant driving several miles past Bob Moore. It was worth it to me to be treated like a reasonable customer should expect. At the end of my lease I decided to purchase the vehicle. Went back to Bob Moore after a sales rep kept emailing and calling me to come talk about a purchase. Even though I promised myself I wouldn’t do business with them again, against my better judgement I went back to them. First I thought things were going well and I thought I should just take it easy and give this transaction a chance. It went ok. I thought. FFWD. May 22,2022 I got a call from a seemingly nice man I believe he was the finance guy who had helped me during the purchase saying in his words “we are desperately trying to send you some money but your address changed.”. I thanked him for calling and informed him that yes I did move after our transaction and I did give him my new address. He Informed me that he would take the “check” to accounting and have them send it to me by overnight delivery so I would be sure to receive it on the next few days. Wonderful! So yes I waited and after almost 10 days I called to inquire as to the status. I mentioned that I had been waiting for a refund from the leasing company (which in my uninformed Vehicle leasing knowledge I thought was the monthly payment I had overpaid that was being returned to me through the dealer. Unbeknownst to me that was an entirely different issue. But. I didn’t know that. How the interaction between the nice man and myself ensued was less than i expected. Considering that my paper tag was expired I was concerned and expressed this to the nice man. I believe he took exception to my words which probably didn’t come out right (to him anyway). But I was put in my place and informed that I had called at the wrong time because accounting was busy closing the month (this was June 2nd) and I needed to wait until accounting was done with month end so they can take care of little old me/ after all how dare me bother him about money that they want to send me after all they found me. So here it is June 13th and i have not received so much as a phone call not to mention a check. I have no idea how much it’s for or any such information. All I know is 1. They called me to inform me they have money for me. 2. They promised to send it to me and didn’t. 3. I was summarily put in my place when I inquired as to why I haven’t received it after I was promised it would be sent.4. I purchased my vehicle plus a $3000 factory warranty from them 5. My husband also purchased a 2020 GMC SIERRA from them 2 years ago and still gets it serviced there. It’s not the money although I need it if it’s rightfully mine; but I must say that I’m feeling a bit beat up by this dealer since I started doing business with them a few years ago I guess you can’t go back. I still have my jeep Cherokee and I will get it serviced at the intervals recommended. I should know better than to break my own promise.to myself. It’s off to Edmond I go. Thanks for reading my dissertation. More
