Deceitful, unprofessional, unethical, and criminal- four of the best words to describe one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered at a "certified dealership." As a backstory, I am currently leasin of the best words to describe one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered at a "certified dealership." As a backstory, I am currently leasing a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander through Burdick Mitsubishi in Upstate New York where I reside. During my drive home, I encountered a concern with the driver side wheel bearing while passing through Myrtle Beach on the evening of April 27. After some convincing research, I foolishly contacted Bob Mills after learning that I could visit a Certified Mitsubishi Dealership. At 5:00 pm, I dropped my vehicle off with the understanding that it would be serviced the following day due. The next morning, I was told the vehicle was in need of a front and rear brake job, a brake caliper replacement, a brake flush, and 2 front wheel bearing replacements. Coincidentally, I took my vehicle into my home Dealership 16 days before it was seen at Bob Mills who provided me with a 27 point inspection report, meaning that the alleged findings were completely contradictory to the information I received before I left New York. I initially brought it in to ensure the vehicle would be safe to drive for my upcoming business trip, and I started my drive 3 days after it was seen at Burduck Mitsubishi. One can understand my confusion to these contradictory finds, considering that the vehicle only had 47,299 miles on it upon arrival in Myrtle Beach. Entrusting that my vehicle was at a Certified Mitsubishi Dealership, I authorized Bob Mills to move forward with the front brake job, driver side caliper replacement, and front wheel bearing replacements. At 2:30 pm I was told that the front ABS sensors were “rusted out, damaged, and needed to be replaced” after the wheel bearings had already been installed. At 3:27 pm, I learned that the additional repair would require me to incur an extra three days of overnight lodging, meal, travel, and other expenses. I declined the additional service and was advised to pick up my vehicle at 5:00 pm. After 24 hours of being in their care I arrived to find that the vehicle was not washed and had every error light flashing on the dash. I incurred charges totaling $1,291.08, including a “dealer automatic 3% charge card fee. I later learned that the caliper should've also been warrantied, but they criminally charged me for that, too, in addition to a $142 diagnostic fee that should not have been charged due to the warranty work. Nonetheless, I issued payment and began my drive back to NY, arriving on Sunday night within two days of receiving service from Bob Mills. The following morning, I immediately brought the vehicle to my home dealership Burdick Mitsubishi where multiple overwhelming concerns were brought to my attention within minutes of dropping off the vehicle. Upon inspection, I was informed that the ABS sensors were visibly cut and twisted together, and the two front wheel bearings were installed backwards. In doing so, this resulted in driver side front axle and nut completely stripped. After conversing with the service professionals, I quickly called Bob Mills Mitsubishi to confront the dealership of these findings who did not deny that faulty workmanship had occurred. On May 3, Bob Mills agreed to cover $3,500 of corrective service work by Burdick. Two days later, I learned that the additional passenger side axle was also stripped from the faulty wheel bearing installation resulting in an additional $1,000+ expense which I ended up incurring. Since then, I have made several attempts to contact them and they have done nothing but avoid me. Aside from more than $2,000 in out of pocket damages this company has since cost me, I have suffered severe emotional hardships by the unprofessionalism and negligence at Bob Mills. Since this experience, I am hopeful that the Dealership will be investigated to ensure that prospective customers will not endure the same treatment that I have received. They will not take my voice. Then they had car 2 weeks and didn't fix it. I put 40 miles on vehicle. While it was in their possession they allowed employees to drive it and put another 86 miles on it. When they damaged hood after 2 days of possession I told them that I didn't want the vehicle and wanted my trade back. They lied and said it was gone already. They appraised the car at 20% less than I paid for me driving that 40 miles. I would never recommend or send anyone there for a car. Bunch of liars and crooks. More

I took my vehicle into the service department this past Friday (1/6/23). I called ahead of time to schedule an oil change. I was clear in the fact that I only wanted an oil change. I was not due for an oil Friday (1/6/23). I called ahead of time to schedule an oil change. I was clear in the fact that I only wanted an oil change. I was not due for an oil change for at least another 1k miles, but decided to take care of it early since I am going out of town next week. I dropped off the vehicle. Upon pickup, my husband is told that an oil change and tire rotation were completed and the balance was $40. This should have been a complementary oil change, 2/5 changes. So we were charged for a tire rotation. This is something I never approved. A few months ago, we were in an accident that was at no fault of our own. We didn't get our vehicle back from the body shop until about a month and a half ago. Due to this, a tire rotation was already taken care of. I spoke to someone named Christian in the service dept on Monday (1/9/23) and let him know I wasn't happy about this charge that I didn't approve. He said that he would have management reach out to me. It is now Thursday (1/12/23), and I haven't received a call back. But, you can believe I've got an email or an automated phone call from Bob Mills. We are on a tight budget in a 1 income household, so the charge is upsetting because we had to take away from other things to pay for this unexpected/unneeded charge. I'd love for management to finally reach out to me regarding this. More
