My son took his car in for repair (2nd time dor the same issue) and the backup lights stopped working when he left. He took it back in and they said he needed an under hood fuse block for $500. horrible-they put a part in that was defective (turbo replaced) - oil poured out back according to service tech. they replaced part - again oil gone from car - now they say the pistons are bad and that w replaced) - oil poured out back according to service tech. they replaced part - again oil gone from car - now they say the pistons are bad and that was the problem all a long and will not accept responsibility for placing a defective part in my car. When he heard about my experience with McCosh he said they just smack you after they get your money. This dealer has treated me so poorly that if GM does not fix it, then I will never purchase another GM product. This place is that bad. Be warned people. More

Bob McCosh Chevrolet and Cable-Dahmer Working Together I purchased a used car at Bob McCosh Chevrolet in Columbia, Missouri in June. It did not come with any warranty. Driving back to Independence, MO, the I purchased a used car at Bob McCosh Chevrolet in Columbia, Missouri in June. It did not come with any warranty. Driving back to Independence, MO, the brakes were making a loud sound. I took the car in to have the brakes checked but the car had wheel locks and the lock key wasn’t in the car. I called Bob McCosh about not having the key to unlock the tires to have the brakes fixed. They got me in touch with Cable-Dahmer Buick GMC Cadillac - Service Center in Independence, MO to take the wheel locks off and put new ones on. While changing out the wheel locks, Cable-Dahmer service noticed that a back tire was very unsafe and called Bert Nuetzmann at Bob McCosh in Columbia, MO; Mr. Nuetzmann authorized them to replace the tire at no cost to me. I would recommend Bob McCosh of Columbia, MO for standing behind their vehicles and for reaching out to Cable-Dahmer Buick GMC Cadillac of Independence, MO to fix the car. Ryan Broome and Cole Fitzpatrick of Cable-Dahmer Buick GMC Cadillac – Service Center in Independence, MO were outstanding to work with and went beyond duty to initiate calls to Bob McCosh Chevrolet to make my car safe. I would recommend both Bob McCosh of Columbia and Cable Dahmer Buick GMC Cadillac Service in Independence, MO., in all areas of buying a used car and service. My husband and I went into Bob McCosh to test drive and discuss options for buying a used truck. We were also looking to trade 2 of our vehicles as part of this deal. We got down to the discussions and basically we walked away as Bob McCosh was not willing to work with us on an additional $1,000 in our trades. After this point, it wasn't basically about money, it was more about how they are not willing to work with you in regards to your trades. At this point, I would not recommend buying from this dealer. I also do NOT recommend getting your oil changed from them either. They have spilled oil over my husband's engine and they did not even attempt to clean this up. I do not feel that the service at this place is about pleasing the buyer, it's about making the most money possible at the buyer's expense. More

I gave the ratings because the experience I had was outstanding. From the time I walker through the show room doors everyone that I encountered asked me If I was being helped or who was helping me. While waiting for the finance guy Mr. Ford sat with me in the lobby and we had a chat about our lives. The dealership closes at 8pm, however I did not leave until 8:30pm. The finance guy and Mr. Ford stayed until everything I needed was complete. I will be coming back in the future to buy my other vehicles from Bob McCosh. Thanks for the great experience.
