BOB MAXEY IN HOWELL SALESPERSON TINA IS A LIAR WHO SAID I DID NOT WANT A VEHICLE, BUT NEVER FOLLOWED UP AND IGNORED CALLS! I CALLED, LEFT MESSAGES, AND TEXTED HER WITH NO RESPONSE AFTER SHE STATED SHE WOULD DID NOT WANT A VEHICLE, BUT NEVER FOLLOWED UP AND IGNORED CALLS! I CALLED, LEFT MESSAGES, AND TEXTED HER WITH NO RESPONSE AFTER SHE STATED SHE WOULD CHECK ON PRICING FOR A VEHICLE THAT I WAS INFORMED ONLY HAD 2K MILES BUT WHEN I TEST DROVE IT...IT HAS ALMOST 6K MILES. NOT ONLY DID THE VEHICLE HAVE EXCESSIVE MILES, BUT THE VEHICLE INFORMATION/VIN I RECEIVED A QUOTE FOR AND DID RESEARCH ON WAS NOT THE SAME VEHICLE THAT I TEST DROVE. I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR THE MANAGER AS WELL ON FRIDAY AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL YET. More
Do not buy anything from Bob Maxey Ford of Howell they will sell you a vehicle with a modification done to it and sell you the warranty knowing that it voids most of the warranty and not say anything till will sell you a vehicle with a modification done to it and sell you the warranty knowing that it voids most of the warranty and not say anything till you bring the car in for repair and they find every way possible to not cover it or make it right. Delivery took 3+ trips ... Maxey manager must develop a checklist for delivery process. Despite an appointment with 3 week’s notice to accept the car 9 April at 0900, we showed and it was not detailed, no checklist for delivery process. Despite an appointment with 3 week’s notice to accept the car 9 April at 0900, we showed and it was not detailed, no paperwork was ready for delivery, it was not configured as purchased, the Modem required a factory reset, and 60+ mins later we left without the new car. Instead of celebrating, we left frustrated and without a lot of customer care. We returned end of day and car was still not licensed (which we discovered next morning by luck) causing yet a third visit and another 45 min delay. On that visit, we did receive attention from a manger. Then we learn several days later that the dealership forgot to take our down payment. Yes the dealership realized they had failed to follow through...so, a process from a checklist overseen by management is a must or other similar customers may not be sympathetic. Luckily Maxey has a couple of great employees (Will & Tina) who saved the experience. Overall we are disappointed with the Maxey operation (COVID is too easy an excuse for lack of management processes) but we love the vehicle and likely willing to give Maxey another chance in the future thanks to your workers. More
Ask for Jenny Ohlrich for the best sales experience of a new or used vehicle. Everybody is always friendly and pleasant to deal with.
