Service, but in more of an "urban dictionary" way. We brought our Cherokee in to diagnose the auto start and an airbag warning light. Got a call with a quote for $3200 to replace both seat harnesses We brought our Cherokee in to diagnose the auto start and an airbag warning light. Got a call with a quote for $3200 to replace both seat harnesses to correct the airbag light. The technician also noticed a loud noise in the engine that could be a camshaft problem that, if not addressed, could lead to an engine replacement. Advised by the service writer that it might be time to replace our car. I went with my gut, paid the $370 for diagnostic time and an oil change. Fortunately, I decided to take the car to a local repair center. They cleaned a connector on the airbag harness, reset the auto start fault and did a cleaning treatment to reduce carbon buildup in the engine. Everything is fine now for $600 to my local shop. Bob Mariano doesn't have to worry about seeing me again. Ever. At best, the tech was just bad. At the worst, this dealer tried to deceive me into trading my car for much less than it's worth. FWIW, this is the second time I've asked this service center about the auto stop/start. The first time I was told it was the auxiliary battery and we could take care of it the next time it comes in. Turns out this car doesn't even have an auxiliary battery! More
My first dealing with this dealership was rated very poor and I’ll stand behind that when it comes to the sales department. You are forced to jump through hoops to obtain $500 veteran discount while spending and I’ll stand behind that when it comes to the sales department. You are forced to jump through hoops to obtain $500 veteran discount while spending $67,000 on a truck. Sales ordered my truck while I sat with them. Told me I’ll be getting an electric rear window. Which I wanted to keep my dogs safe. They never gave me the order we did on my truck until I requested it. I would have canceled my order if I knew I was not going to get the electric rear window, that’s how important it was to us. Upon getting the truck I noticed it did not come with one. They installed a manual widow. So if open and the dogs started to go out that window driving down the highway, the out come might not be so good. They lied to me by telling me other items I wanted were on back order. So beware dealing with the sales department. It’s all about making that sale! Sales 0-1 Stars* Parts department was outstanding! They looked up the items I’ve been trying to get prior to my truck being delivered and getting the run around from sales. I was informed they could not get LED head lights that was over looked on my second build and final truck. Again sales stated these lights were on back order. Wrong you can’t get them and have to get aftermarket ones. Parts also told me that they would have to find a truck with the rear tire liners and make up a list of parts to order. Again sales had me jumping through hoops trying to get something and kept misleading me by saying it was on back order. Parts FIVE STARS ***** Since day one of picking up my truck the pedal adjuster did not work and of course my sales rep had no clue or care about the matter. Made an appointment with service. In and out in 41 minutes. Found the factory never plugged it in. Service did all my recalls on my last truck. Never an issue! I give Service Five Stars***** More
