The factory regional rep agreed to fix the car, but getting home from the dealership would require me to walk after getting dropped off at the 7 mile limit on the shuttle service. Dick Hannah Will take you home, to the office or a nearby mall. I guess some dealerships still understand what customer service means. This is the second car purchased from a Lanphere dealership. Not impressed with their promise painted on the service wall. All words, no action. Clearly not something they will stand up for. Also noticed that they add all kinds of charges to cars they sell even though many of the items are included in the window sticker. I hope to never go back there. More

Wonderful personality and so clear on everything being done. The waiting area was very comfortable with food and drink available, a media lounge and a fireplace! And and a treat waiting for me in my car. The whole experience was wonderful! More

My Honda civic got a flat tire and I was expecting the whole repair to be a huge process although he made it very quick and simple. He kept me updated every step of the way and was able to repair the tire. I was expecting to pay a lot but walked out paying nothing at all. This was some of the best customer service I have experienced! Christopher definately made my experience with Honda an outstanding one. Makes me feel relieved I chose Bob Lanphere's! More

Wait times are long and they nickel and dime you for everything. In fact the only reason I scheduled this time was because of a factory recall. The second one in two years. And they scheduled me for the wrong day (and booked a rental car which I did not order) so I had to completely rearrange my schedule. I will not be returning. More

Waiting for a long time to see a service personal I have been a Honda customer for at least 15 years and always had excellent and professional service. About two weeks ago, I had a maintenance appoint I have been a Honda customer for at least 15 years and always had excellent and professional service. About two weeks ago, I had a maintenance appointment for my Honda Odessy. I arrived on time but had to wait for about 30mins in the car until the service representative checked me in. Today, I took my Honda accord for a battery replacement. I waited for about 30mins and a personal only showed up after another car arrived after me. The personal attended to the recently arrived car before bothering to check me in. I have been considering a new Honda SUV purchase but now having a second thought about this. More

We brought our Honda in three different times with concerns regarding the brakes and general concerns about functionality under the hood. We were continuously written off and our concerns were ignored. Not only that, they charged us $300 to do something that did not fix or address any of the problems we were concerned about. When you drive a car daily, you know if something is wrong and no one would listen to us. We just drove our Honda on a cross-country road trip after being ensured it was in prime condition and shocker, we had issues. We will not be purchasing another Honda. I am extremely disappointed in Beaverton Honda and will not be returning. More
Excellent Service Experience I have a 2003 Civic with an air bag light on. The previous owner had the bag replaced under recall by Beaverton Honda so I took it there thinking the light was related. Upon arrival, I was checked in at the bottom of the lot and drove up to the service center, where the advisor, Lance Swanson, met me with his tablet ready to start the process. After taking some notes, he guided me inside to the waiting area and let me know someone would be assisting me with my rental soon. Maybe 5 minutes later my name was called and I was handed the keys to a new Civic to use while mine was being worked on. They charge a reasonable $15/day for the rental, which actually wasn't due back until end of business the NEXT day, so basically a two day rental. Lance said he would call me in a few hours with the word on the car. He had a good suspicion of the problem and noted if his suspicion was correct, the item was covered by warranty and there would be no cost other than the rental. If not, their charge for diagnosis is $130. Seems a bit steep, but not the end of the world either. As promised, Lance called me in a couple hours and had good news - he was right and the part was covered under warranty. As most dealers do, they did a multi-point inspection to see if there are any other items needing to be addressed. Remember, most service writers are paid on commission so it's their job to try and get as much work done as needed. I thought the pricing on those issues was really high, but being that I am going to be selling the car, I politely declined the other issues and that was the end of it. No hard sales push. Again, as promised, he called me early the next day to tell me the car was done and I could pick it up any time. I am currently shopping for a new car as this commuter Civic just isn't for me, but I actually REALLY liked the rental Civic they gave me and I was fully expecting a hard sales push to buy it upon return, but they just took the keys and gave me mine (which they washed and vacuumed by the way!) and I was on my way. Refreshing, but honestly, kind of disappointing as well. I might have been easily swayed being that I had driven the car for two days and really liked it. I think that was a missed opportunity for them. I've now moved on to a different brand. That said, overall, it was a fantastic experience. More
Taken for a Ride: Destination $925 Oil Change Took my car here for an oil change. It was driving fine but the oil light came on. When I brought it in they told me that "two other lights should hav Took my car here for an oil change. It was driving fine but the oil light came on. When I brought it in they told me that "two other lights should have been on" and next thing I know I agreed to them "changing out all the fluids" and replacing 1 filter. Charge: $300. They must have figured me for a sucker because when i picked up the car they told me that all the brake pad were shot. That was news to me, but when I drove it home that night the brakes were metal on metal. I honestly think they switched out my pads for worn ones. I had to take it back and they told me that the brakes were so bad they "tried to cut the rotors" (whatever that means) but had to replace them., al the pads, and the fluid instead. Cost: $625. There was NOTHING wrong with the brakes when I took it in for the oil change. You hear stories about dealers breaking things when you go in, but this was particularly obvious. They denied any wrongdoing of course. The Service Department At Beaverton Honda used to be great, but about a year ago they closed the separate facility and made it part of the Sales Department. Now every time I go in I get some swarmy guy I've never seen before telling me a bunch of gobbledygook designed to confuse and frighten customers. No puns intended: steer clear on this oily place.
