I didn't have an actual repair at the shop. but let me tell you my experience with one of your service writers. My car wouldn't start recently and your employee Derrick Flaherty was in the parking lot me tell you my experience with one of your service writers. My car wouldn't start recently and your employee Derrick Flaherty was in the parking lot and offered assistance to me. In the meantime he had his wife and children in the car waiting. He was so kind and patient giving me instructions and assuring me that it wasn't a bother for him to help. He got the car to start after jumping it with cables & he told me to take my battery back into Les Scwab where it was from since it was still within the time frame of warranty from the purchase date rather than buying a brand new battery. He was so nice and refused payment that I offered for his time. I asked where he worked and he told me up the street at Beaverton Honda in the Service Dept. He is a great example of service for your company and courtesy in a rushed world when many people wouldn't stop in their busy lives. I told his wife thank you for allowing him the time to help and she laughed & said that was just how he is. I believe it and would imagine his customers appreciate it get the same attitude and service. Thank you! Molly Williams More
My experience of taking my 2010 Odyssey in for oil change to the Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda dealership yesterday was quite good. The people in Service Department were friendly and thorough. Jonah, the service rep, explained in detail what the little orange wrench on the dashboard meant, and what they will do about it. He also explained that my maintenance contract had run out a couple of weeks ago and that I can buy a new one. Bill Stallard, the sales manager, was able to navigate through the intricacies of financial paths to make sure the I can buy the new coverage for another 3 years, covering all repairs, and oil changes. This also meant I was covered for the maintenance for which I took the car in. I was a Happy Camper! BTW- I am an 80 yr old retired teacher and since 2000, this is my 2nd Odyssey I bought from Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda In all those 14 years They have treated me with respect and tender loving care that we, senior citizens, so desperately need. You greeted me when I got there, called me when my car was ready to pick up. You always remember me when I call (and am panic'ed) to ask silly questions about the "dummy" lights that pop up on my dash. I will continue to use Beaverton Honda as long as you are working there. I trust your knowledge, and I like that you share with me the things that I will need to have serviced on my 2011 CRV in the future so I can notate them on my calendar, and budget accordingly. Chris came to my house this morning when my car would not start. He determined the problem (battery) and performed a test on the alternator to be sure that was the only issue. Jonathan listened to my story of how I had just had a tree fall on my car in August and as a result had sustained almost $10,000 worth of damage to the vehicle, which insurance covered and all had since tree fall on my car in August and as a result had sustained almost $10,000 worth of damage to the vehicle, which insurance covered and all had since been fixed, but the 22 days it took for them to fix it caused me to have to pay for a rental vehicle for that length of time. That combined with me being out of work currently, makes for a super tight budget and made the service I was having done truly beyond my current means. Jonathan not only applied the coupon I had but also found a way to give me an additional discount on top of that. I really appreciated that he truly listened to me and empathized with my situation. Plus the service took less time than I had anticipated. More
