Accused my wife and I of intentionally damaging vehicle. Windshield wipers stopped working on my wife's car on her way home from work during snow storm a few weeks ago. A very dangerous condition! I brought it into the dealer the next morning and was so shocked when we were called and told the repair would not be covered by warranty since we purposely didn't clean the windshield off and stripped the wiper motor. Didn't clean it off?? How was it working one moment, and then not the next? The motor is a direct drive unit on the Chevrolet Bolt EV, no transmission. Impossible to strip. There is a known issue and bulletin for wipers stalling coming out of park during cold and snowy conditions. If the customer complains the wipers do not come out of park during icy or snowy conditions, replace both motors with updated PN. (This is a RECALL in Canada, BTW!) Quoted more than $300 to repair. Fought with dealer and GM for a week and they would not cover the cost of the repair. GM even hung up on my wife more than once. Would not even have a reasonable conversation about the issue. Company is run by children apparently. I paid the diagnostic fee and fixed the car my self. I ordered the motor from another GM dealer. It is interesting to note that they diagnosed the wiper being stripped without actually disassembling anything! In the process of taking the car apart to fix it myself I could tell that none of the trim fasteners had even been touched! How did they know anything was damaged if they didn't even touch anything? Entire job took about a half an hour. They wanted to charge me at least 1 hour labor plus parts. (I do not remember exactly) Anyway - when I was done, I disassembled the old motor and found nothing stripped, nothing damaged, no signs of worn or stripped parts, no shavings - nothing. I've been a warranty engineer for one of GM's largest suppliers for 20 years. This is our last GM car. I am not going to be accused of being a liar and continue to buy cars from this company. More

He provided fake costs and was very resistant to help me pursue other vehicle options. He would get irritated with me when I had questions about anything but the car he wanted me to lease. He said to me that he didn’t want to keep getting up from his desk so I had to make a decision. The mpg is very important to me because I travel long distance. I asked him multiple times and he said the mpg was amazing and in the high 30s. After I had signed for the car, I looked at the sticker from the window, it was 28 mpg not high 30s. That was one of my huge deciding factors and I was completely lied to. I asked for costs of various vehicles and he lied about the costs. After signing, I had asked another employee that works at Bob Johnson about the costs he had provided me and they said he was very very wrong and lied to me. He gave me way over priced costs just so I wouldn’t lease a different car. He was very pushy and impatient. He was trying to rush me into leasing the vehicle that he wanted me to lease. When it came to calling the insurance company, he was placed on hold and somehow got disconnected. During that time, he was holding my phone going through my emails to sign me up for rewards. He never told me what he was doing and didn’t tell me how the rewards work or that he was signing me up. He got angry that the phone call got disconnected and legitimately threw my phone down on his desk. He almost broke my phone. He gave a short sorry in such a rude way and didn’t even care that he just threw a customer’s phone. Not only did he throw my phone but he kept leaving us alone for long periods of time. He went over to other salesmen to chat and what looked like placing bets or something. They were passing around money and laughing while making us wait. It was very unprofessional. We also had a third person and he didn’t get her a chair and made her stand the entire time. Her and I kept switching so she didn’t stand the entire time. When it came to adding information into his computer, he didn’t tell us what we needed to do and left us alone. However, the man from the finance department that helped us was very kind. overall, my experience was pretty bad. I thought as a returning customer or any customer, I would be treated with respect. We have two leases from Bob Johnson in our household and neither of us will be returning. We were going to lease a third but that will not happen. I will never choose to buy or lease from there again. My salesman was rude and pushy. He lied and provided extremely misleading information about the car that I wanted to get. The car I ended up getting instead does not meet the standards that were sold to me. I’m very disappointed with the service from Ben Collichio. More

Honest I have been a loyal customer for many years. The past couple of visits have not been good.
