We just bought 2 brand new cars within 2 weeks from one another. Both times we dealt with Al and Sean from finance. They were great. We were happy with what was given to us. Sean in finance was great he explained all our warranty and extras with detail. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. The only complaint I have is with the service department. Our brand new $60,000 vehicle had issues with it's tires. We kept telling them the tires weren't balanced they said they were. We took our vehicle to Discount Tires and our tires on the left side were both unbalanced by a half an ounce a piece. We continued to have trouble with the tires and complained. Amanda from the dealership phoned and offered to swap the tires and rims out. We did this and our car is perfect now. Al, Sean, TR and Amanda were a pleasure to deal with. More
We were very pleased with this dealership. We had visited FOWLER and had problems with getting information from anyone. We told them we would definately be buying a Toyato Tacoma and no one would ca visited FOWLER and had problems with getting information from anyone. We told them we would definately be buying a Toyato Tacoma and no one would call us back. David Goss was a super salesperson, my husband first spoke with him on the phone. We ordered a truck and he kept us well informed before it arrived at your dealership. We are very please with the service we received from BOB HOWARD and will recommend them to others. More
Took my Sienna minivan in for a warranty repair due to a defect in the internal part of the drivers door, for which Toyota had extended out the warranty to 100,000 miles. The official repair according to t defect in the internal part of the drivers door, for which Toyota had extended out the warranty to 100,000 miles. The official repair according to the service bulletin involved extensive work involving structural repair of the door, repainting, etc., with an authorized free loaner for four or five days. I was told by the service advisor they could fix it in a couple of hours by tack welding the part back together. Many people on the internet have reported some dealers will do this. This type of repair will fail again, usually just past the warranty period. I declined the work and drove off. Took the van to another dealership in town. They did the work correctly and gave me a nice Camry to drive for the week the van was in the shop. I then got a call from this dealership asking me if I had already had this work done as Toyota was denying their claim because the work had already been done by Bob Howard two weeks ago. I explained the entire story to them. Bottom line: Bob Howard has demonstrated they will do improper repairs, and will also bill a customer (in this case Toyota) for work they did not perform. If they are willing to rip off their own corporation (Toyota), imagine the work and services they are billing other customers that they actually don't do. I gave this dealership service department a low rating based on a demonstrated reason not to trust them. More
This is the 3rd Toyota car we have purchased from Bob Howard Toyota, 2 for me and 1 for my son. Al Fard is great to work with, was not pushy and patiently explained features of the car to my son, who Howard Toyota, 2 for me and 1 for my son. Paint finish on driver door of new Tundra damaged by dealership when being prepped for delivery. Portion of Clear Coat stripped off. Dealership initially offered replacement truck, but then reneged because they could not see any difference in finish on door under artificial diffuse fluorescent lighting, at night. Damage is obvious in real-world lighting conditions, where a broad hazy white band appears on door any time there is a focal source of illumination on that side... i.e. sunlight, parking lot lights, etc. Hoped Toyota would take active role in resolving dispute, but they have a hands-off approach to dealer issues. Their rep actually suggested legal recourse as best option, if unable to settle directly with dealer. Very frustrating. Wish I could go back 2 months. Would have spent more time researching the domestic options. I wanted Toyota reliability, but I rarely keep a vehicle more than few years, so not as important a factor as it once was. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good truck, but it gets poor mileage and the dealer issue has made experience regrettable. More

After a bad experience looking at a volkswagen in Dallas the day before, we went to look at Prius' at BHT. We got a good deal on a Prius 5. Everyone was really friendly. We did spend a long time at the dealership, but that just seems to be what happens when you buy a car. We have bought a few cars at the different Bob Howard dealerships and have always felt like we got a good car and a good deal. So I do recommend trying Bob Howard if you are looking for a car. More
