About 4 PM on Friday the Car wouldn’t start, it couldn’t recognize the key fob to start, all kinds of confusing message on the screen. Called dealer, suggested it might be battery, which I hadn’t considered since it was an 84 month battery only 4 years in. Representative suggested I check with my insurance to see if I had roadside assistance coverage which I did. Got car towed to dealership by 12:30 Saturday. Service adviser Rob and others searched the service records and found the warranty info on the battery which I had bought in August 2019 at the Nissan dealership in South Bend, IN. With the remaining battery warranty, they could offer replacement for about $70 plus install fee. After replacing battery they did routine electrical system checks; confirmed that both key fobs worked (locking, unlocking, opening & closing rear hatch, starting the car, etc.). Took car on test drive, but the check engine light came on. About 2 PM, Rob called me at home to tell me that he wasn’t sure if he could get anybody before Monday to check into this, I was slightly disappointed but wanted whatever it was fixed even if I had to wait til Monday. At 4PM Rob called to say that he had found a technician to dig into the “check engine light” messages, finding that they were low voltage issues of no real concern and had all been corrected by the time he called. I picked the car up around 4:30 PM and the bill was only $105. To say I was very pleased with the service would be a major understatement. Rob and the crew a Bob Howard Nissan did an outstanding job. We bought the new Rogue in 2016, planning to trade it for a new one after we finished paying for it. The Rogue has been very well worth what we paid for it. It has about 87k miles on now that note has been paid. Since we have had a number of other expenses come due this year, we are planning on waiting til next year to trade it for new car, and Bob Howard Nissan will be the first place we look. More

Not sure why it takes nearly two hours to change the oil. Also, for some reason you recommended a new air filter even though just a few months ago you had installed one. The donuts were nice. Lack of communication is ridiculous. James told me that I would receive a call back from him on Saturday regarding a loaner. Never heard back from him and he was nowhere to be found when I dropped my vehicle off Sat eve. Thankfully the used car manager took my key after I was able to find a ride. On Monday, James told me that my vehicle would be delivered to me. Never heard back from him, after he stated in a VM that the warranty covered the battery. I was not notified that vehicle was ready to pickup until I text the number in the link that was sent after they wouldn’t answer the phone. Link sent in text to track the service was not updated. Attempted to charge me for a battery that was 2 yrs old and I was told that was the life of the battery. I suspect my vehicle has an electrical issue causing batteries to be depleted (2nd battery in just over 2 years), but of course it checks out fine. I’ll find another dealership to use for repairs (vehicle under warranty). More
Only done business here two or three times, but haven’t had a bad experience yet. They’re pretty friendly and laid-back. They didn’t try to talk me into any services I didn’t actually need, just did the ba had a bad experience yet. They’re pretty friendly and laid-back. Either way, ALL of them were friendly. More
