I had a great buying experiance to say the least. The dealer was quick to get me though the buying process and I was impressed! I have had issues getting my title information, getting my trade paid off, and I did not recieve all the paper work I signed. I was talking with the sales management team when they would take my calls. They were always too busy to take my call cause they were selling another car. What happened to the person who put food on your table? Is selling a care to a new customer more important than taking care of the person who bought the car? They think so. I even ended up in Toby F office and he is General Counsel and he said all he could do is appoligize for my problems. He ask what they could do to make me happy and I mentioned a few things and according to Toby those were not an option. Then why did he waste my time by asking if he knew the answer to his question. Warning when a dealership has an attorney on site run the other way!!! I have been on the phone with Hyundai Corperate trying to seek help from them and they are also getting the silent tratment as well. I bought the car on 5/28/12 and my trade was sold I called about my title information on the 6/25/12 and was told I would have it by the 28th. It did not come in so I went to dealer on the 29th and no title!! Not only that the dealer had no MSO for the car. I was guaranteed my title info by 3pm on 7/4/12 no call or notification that it was in. I called dealer and I got no one to answer my calls. I then was notified by Hyundia that my title was in on 7/5 and went to dealer and guess what no title!! I was then taken to the office across the street were I had the privilage to met Toby. Also it took them 30 day from funding to pay off my trade. They sold my trade before all my paper work was complete and did not give me delivery agreement that has all the dealers will do's!! Suprise!! Now I have to seek legal help to get the dealer to take the car back due to breach of contract which is clearly stated on the delivery agreement I did not recieve, how ironic!!! Be ware buying a car here!!! I will not pay my hard earned money to a dealer who treats me like this!! They do not desirve to be in the car business!!! I wish you the best if you buy here! I am warning you once you sign on the dotted line they are done and thats it as stated by the staff!! Do not question them either they will band you from calling and refer you to Toby who does not have the respect to call you back. That is why I had to seek legal help!!! More
It seems like the sales end of this business does well but no one says anything about the service area. Well I'm here to tell you they are awful!! I recently took my car in to get some very minor things but no one says anything about the service area. Well I'm here to tell you they are awful!! I recently took my car in to get some very minor things fixed and the gentleman told me all this should be under warranty. So I was happy about that. The man told me they would call me that even and let me know. Did not receive a call for 2days so I called them an they told me only 2 things were covered. I was a little upset but I understand that it had to be a manufacturing problem. He then started to tell me the car was getting in the shop now and he would give me a call after the check everything and to see how long it will take. OF COURSE I did not get a call. I FINALLY receive my car on the 5th day. My mats were filthy! My stuff in my glove box was just thrown on the floor board, and to top it off one of the two things they "fixed" is still broken. So they are very nice to your fce but they truly don't care about you or your vehicle. I've never had a really nice car so I finally got one!! And I love this car. I will NEVER take it there again because they don't take care of your car. More
I was happy that I was able to choose the vehicle I wanted, and receive the advertised price. A lot of other dealerships would advertise a lower price, only to later say the lower price was only a reb wanted, and receive the advertised price. Normally, we dread the thought of purchasing a car because of all the hassel/negotiations/waiting and waiting some more. We already owned a Santa Fe and knew it was what we wanted. The whole process took less than three hours and we feel like we have a wonderful vehicle at a great price. Something comparable with Ford, GM, Nissan, ect were all 10-15,000 more on sticker price. I went here to look at the Veracruz. I was the previous owner of a 2005 Lexus RX. I was told by a friend to check out the Veracruz and I am so glad I did. Went in to trade in our old vehicle for a new one. From the beginning we were passed back and forth between multiple salesmen as if neither was really wanting our business, but rather they wanted to try an the beginning we were passed back and forth between multiple salesmen as if neither was really wanting our business, but rather they wanted to try and handle multiple customers at the same time. Didn't quite get the price we wanted for the new car nor quite enough on the trade. Decided to leave and check around and we're glad we did. We found a competitor who was willing to meet David Stanley's new sales price but with a 2013 model instead of a 2012 and with a more fully loaded vehicle. They also gave us substantially more on our trade. Furthermore, we were repeatedly warned about the "free oil change for life" offer that Stanley offers. We were told that this is a tricky practice that Stanley will terminate if you do not agree to other service that they recommend. One dealer told us to take a look at the Better Business Bureau and see for ourselves. We did and although we could not find exact reasons for each complaint filed with the BBB, it is worth noting that at the time of our purchase, Stanley had 4-5 times as many (125) complaints over the last 5 years. Edmond Hyundai had 34 and Norman Hyundai had 25. I know that Stanley Hyundai has not been open that long but you gotta think that if they have this many complaints at their other stores then the poor practices that get them these complaints will most likely follow them tho this new location. Overall, our experience left a bad first impression with sales, higher overall cost than competitor and too many unanswered questions about the reliability of future service. All in all, our advice would be to shop and not make a hasty decision... there's always a better deal... Glad we found ours!! More
