Great service in midst of the pandemic when everyone is social distancing. Everyone, especially Russ were great. I always get my CRV services at a Honda dealer and frequently go to Bob Howard Honda. social distancing. Everyone, especially Russ were great. Bad to worse. This was my first review of Bob Howard Honda posted on 3/7/2020: 'Went into Bob Howard Honda originally to look at a new 2020 Honda Accord Touring This was my first review of Bob Howard Honda posted on 3/7/2020: 'Went into Bob Howard Honda originally to look at a new 2020 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid that we had found online. Upon arriving we were greeted by Ben Rekoay who was extremely friendly and helpful. Ben informed us that they had just received 2 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring and asked if we wanted to look at one of them. So we did, we test drove and then went in to discuss numbers. The first number we received was sticker price plus a "Market Price Adjustment" of $5,000 as Ben stated these were the first two CR-V Hybrids in the state and they were "hot commodities", "highly sought after", and had a list of customer's waiting to purchase. After your typical back and forth with the sales person and the sales manager, we were on our fourth trip when Ben decided to have his sales manager, Cal Rude, come out and talk to us. I could tell that this wasn't going to go well when Mr. Rude didn't even sit down at our table, didn't introduce himself, or shake our hand.... At least I was able to get his first name off of his name badge and the last name off of the Bob Howard website. His name said it all, Cal Rude was RUDE. Downright disrespectful. He came to our table and said "Listen, this is the best deal that we are able to offer, if you can't accept it then we can still be friends but we won't be doing business today..." and then he walked back to his office. I was mind blown as to what he told us, the tone and way he said it, and his actions of just walking back to his office. Not professional at all! On the way home, I did receive a call from Ben Rekoay to apologize. During our discussion he stated that the interaction did not end on a good note and that he apologized and hoped that there was something that he could do to earn our business. I stated to Mr. Rekoay that due to the way Mr. Rude treated us, we wouldn't be back for any reason in the future. Not ever. I explained to Ben that this was not his fault, that he did everything he could for us and he was EXTREMELY informative and helpful. I apologized to Ben Rekoay for wasting his time and thanked him for what he had done for us. During our phone conversation we did discuss the way that Mr. Rude spoke to us and the impression that it gave and how unvalued, unwelcomed it made us feel in Bob Howard Honda. Some people just don't have the communication skills to communicate effectively, with class and dignity with customers. I have never meet Mr. Rude before but for that to be our first interaction, it wasn't a good one and I won't be back". After posting this review on multiple websites, I received comments from Brett Goodner, General Manager at Bob Howard Honda, asking me to call and email him in regards to this bad experience. After multiple phone calls, voicemails, emails to Mr. Goodner, including an email to parent company Group 1 Automotive, I finally spoke to Brett who apologized for this experience. Of course he said that he would do whatever it would take to earn our business. After much discussion, we decided to purchase form Bob Howard Honda and told Brett that we would be by to sign the paperwork around 4:30 and 5:00 PM. Brett said that he would only do this deal if the negative reviews were taken down, so I did remove those reviews at that time. Brett also said he would have the vehicle ready for us and this time frame gave Brett and his team at Bob Howard Honda 6-7 hours to do just that. Our experience at the dealership was fine, we were the only sales customers and only customers in finance and it took a little while to get the paperwork drawn up. During this time, our salesman Ben was seen taking out floor mats to the vehicle which prompted us to question why it wasn't done earlier in the day seeing as the store knew we were coming 6-7 hours ahead of time. After completing the paperwork in the finance office, I didn't sign the delivery agreement at that time as we hadn't physically seen this vehicle "up close" or the inside as this vehicle was delivered to the dealership on Monday 3/9/2020 (or so we were told by our sales person). The vehicle had scuffs on the inside of the rear doors and it was at that time I noticed the Windows were not tinted. Window tinting is sold as part of a package from Bob Howard Honda, so we paid for Window Tinting but in the 6-7 hours notice, Bob Howard Honda didn't bother getting it done. A few days later, I noticed that this vehicle was missing the Emergency Tire Inflator Kit, the Emergency Fuel Funnel, Owners Manual, and the Retractable Cargo Cover. A text message was sent to our salesman Ben requesting that those items be shipped to us to which ben said "Okay". After waiting over a week with nothing received and no further communication from our salesman or Bob Howard Honda, I had to go to the dealership and get these items. It was at that point that I also requested to be reimbursed for the window tint as Bob Howard Honda had failed to tint the windows despite me paying for them and our requests to get that done were left unanswered. Fast forward to 3/30/2020, my trade in vehicle still has not been paid off by Bob Howard Honda but my trade in vehicle has been sold to a customer with no free and clear title held by Bob Howard Honda. I explained my frustration to Brett and how this transaction has been bad from the start and how I thought Brett was there to do us right and treat us right during this process and how I felt that he hadn't fulfilled that need. Brett blamed the missing accessories on Honda as this vehicle was an Auto Show car (which also wasn't disclosed to us at the time of sale). I also explained to Brett how his condition of the vehicle purchase was that the negative reviews were be taken down, which I did, but with how bad things continued to be, the negative review would be going back up and that I would add the additional negative feedback to the review. Brett had asked me not to do that, telling me that it wasn't fair and that I was being treated right and that I was being taken care of. I explained to Brett that me being treated right would've meant that I would have to go back to the dealership to get those accessories. It would have meant that the windows would have been tinted before I took delivery of the vehicle. I had to give more of my own time and effort to take care of things that Bob Howard didn't do. In the end, I have never been more dissatisfied with a new vehicle purchase or the people running the dealership. I'm kicking myself now, our first interaction at the dealership was a negative one and it's been that way ever since. Buyer beware. Bob Howard Honda will act like they are bending over backwards to make you a deal, but in the end the rude staff, poor business practices, and overall bad service isn't worth it. The good news is, there are other Honda dealers in the city that would be happy to earn your business. More

Came in and test drove a new vehicle due to an end of the year “sale”. Turns out they just take that sale price off your trade in. It’s an outplayed sales tactic that this dealership still uses. Excellent Customer Service - Seamless Transaction Found a used Car that was on one of the other Bob Howard Auto lots. My dealer had not problem's with getting the car for me to look at, test drive, an Found a used Car that was on one of the other Bob Howard Auto lots. My dealer had not problem's with getting the car for me to look at, test drive, and was able to answer all of my questions & concerns. The car salesman and used auto manager were willing to work with my current financial situation and I was able to come back in the evening and purchase the vehicle. The F&I side of the transaction was actually quite pleasant, and the F&I guy wasn't a pain in my @** like most dealerships. Thank you for taking the time to take care of me & my family. We will return when we need another vehicle. More
sold me a used car with poor paintless dent repair done I was looking for a used acura tl which they had I worked the deal over with Jeremy Cook head of used car sales. I went up and test drove the car and I was looking for a used acura tl which they had I worked the deal over with Jeremy Cook head of used car sales. I went up and test drove the car and asked about purchasing it with the 3 day 300 mile guarantee which the car was advertised with on craigslist which is where I found it. I was told no the advertised ad did not apply? I was given permission to get the car checked by my mechanic here in norman which I did mechanically it was sound, I went by my pdr guy who was not at his shop so I purchased the car. I took the car by my pdr guy the first chance I got and he stated the pdr work that was so poorly done was some of the worst he has ever seen and he has been doing pdr for 30+ years. bottom line I am paying more to fix up the dealers pdr work than I am to get the dents taken out, I contacted Jeremy Cook and although they sell pdr work he claims? they did not do the work, shadiest car dealership I have ever dealt with. I would have gladly taken the car back under the 3 day warranty which was how I found the car on craigslist but obviously they knew I would get the shoddy bodywork checked out and brought it back! Used cars is too aggressive Nice selection of cars but terrible sales people (in used cars). I was driving through the lot and a guy named Lavando or something came running up to Nice selection of cars but terrible sales people (in used cars). I was driving through the lot and a guy named Lavando or something came running up to my window to stop me. I had just pulled in and wanted to look as I drove. Talk about aggressive and making me feel like a dollar sign. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Employees dipping and spitting on the sidewalk where customers can sit at the bench. Won't be doing business here, that's for sure More
