Haney quoted me a monthly payment that was noticeably higher than what I had calculated through my credit union. Then he offered the extended warranty, which we ended up purchasing because—let’s be honest—we’ve had some bad luck with cars in the past, and the coverage seemed like a good value. But here’s where it got weird: after we signed everything, then he told us that our interest rate had dropped to the rate originally offered by my credit union because we purchased the warranty. That info wasn’t shared up front, and it made the whole interaction feel a little icky—like there was something being withheld just to make the sale. Maybe it was just poor communication, but it definitely lacked transparency, which left a funny taste in my mouth. That being said, I would still recommend this dealership—especially Charlie, who was amazing! Just a heads-up to anyone going through the process: ask for all the finance details—interest rate, payment, and terms—before making decisions on add-ons like the warranty. That way you can feel confident and informed every step of the way. More
