Mr. Wood will respond to this (as he does all of his negative reviews) and give the appearance that he cares and would like to rectify the situation, but let me assure you we have emailed him and left multiple voice messages for him and he does not respond. We visited the dealership on April 10, 2021 and looked at the new Acura MDX. We test drove the only one there, discussed packages and options and asked the salesman what the sticker price/ MSRP on the one we would want was. The one they had there did not have the features we wanted, so we couldn’t just look at those giant stickers they put in all of the windows of new cars. The salesman (JT) went and asked his sales manager (Amir) sticker and came back and told us MSRP on them was $65,000. We ended up leaving for a while to look at one more car that I wanted to check out before making a decision. In the end we decide on the MDX and returned to the dealership. We agreed to pay FULL MSRP because cars are hard to find right now and I wanted the specific one they had arriving soon. We had them throw on a few little extra things and got a satisfactory amount for our trade in. Everything settled, we gave them $1000 to hold our car for us when it arrived and we left. Fast forward to a few hours later...I was on the Acura website admiring what I thought I had just bought and noticed they blatantly lied about the sticker price of the car. MSRP is actually $62,175. When we questioned them, they claimed that all of the dealers are marking them up this high because they are in high demand. I have contacted dealers in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas and asked their price and not one of them has lied about MSRP. When confronted again JT told us that he mentioned the mark up several times that day and we were aware of it. I am an intelligent person as is my husband and I assure you we both have great hearing....this was never mentioned. In hindsight I should have taken 2 seconds to look it up but it was the one thing I didn’t think they would lie about because they are actually stuck to the window when you buy a new car. At this point I still need to buy a car and we have been trying for 3 days to get our $1000 back, so we can move on to a dealer that treats people better. We can’t get one person to return our phone call and haven’t even been able to get a human voice on the phone in 2 days. So if you are in the market for a new car, run don’t walk to anywhere but this dealership! More
