In March I purchased a Focus ST from Lloyd K., Lloyd had actually contacted me as I was on the way to another dealer and (Bob Davidson being so close to work) I decided to stop there first. We met 3-4 times before purchasing the vehicle, the first time to discuss pricing and locate a vehicle. The original vehicle I wanted was being used by another dealer and was no longer a "new" car, so Lloyd continued a search. After a weekend of searching he presented me with a list of 10+ Focus STs in the area with the package I wanted, with a variety of distances from Bob Davidson and colors. I decided on my second choice for color as the first was not at any dealer within a few hundred miles. The next day, once Lloyd had confirmed the vehicle was new and available, we put down a $100 (refundable) deposit to have the vehicle transferred to Bob Davidson from an outside dealer. Over the next weekend, the vehicle was driven to Bob Davidson and prepped for delivery to me. Lloyd took special care to make sure a few unusual requests were met. I was impressed that he not only met my requests (such as leaving the dealer stickers off of the car) but also installed the rear license plate frame so that the dealer's logo would not show, while still offering protection from the rough edges of a bare plate. Lloyd allowed me to see the vehicle before it was fully washed / ready for delivery as the dealership was preparing for a snow storm the next day. Two days later paperwork was being finalized and Lloyd took nearly an hour to explain every feature, small or large, of my new Focus to me. Ending the night, he delivered the vehicle to my house for me. I have had a few minor issues with my Focus ST that required warranty service, each time I scheduled an appointment to come in Lloyd emailed me offering any help he could, he even went as far as to come to the service lane and visit me apologizing for the issues I have had. The warranty / repair service I received has been very reasonable so far. While I did not get my ideal price, Bob Davidson was within a few hundred dollars of what I was originally hoping for. Their customer service was at it's absolute best and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Ford. Lloyd will be getting repeat business from both my family and I in the future. More

I have gone to Bob Davidson for several years and would recommend them without hesitation. Any dealer is nice BEFORE the sale (or most) but they are just as nice after. Bob Davidson Ford is the best, and we have nothing but gratitude for their employees! We were car shopping for a Ford C-Max (after first looking at Explorers, Edges, and Escapes---and then finally reac gratitude for their employees! We were car shopping for a Ford C-Max (after first looking at Explorers, Edges, and Escapes---and then finally reaching Ford Nirvana with a C-Max SEL) and getting a little frustrated with our visits to three DC-area dealers. We felt like we were getting gamed at each of them--including one that we reached an agreement with over email and phone, only to show up and have the DC area dealer say they made "a big mistake" and tried to jack up the price by more than a thousand. Bob Davidson Ford was the exact opposite. We emailed Rick yesterday telling him exactly what we were looking for. Within a half-hour, he wrote back that he had the car on his lot (there aren't lots of C-Max's in stock right now, anywhere) and gave an initial offer. I wrote back and told him we were ready to buy and discussed price. He quickly came back with a price that made it vert worth our time driving up to Baltimore from DC. And unlike the last dealer, Bob Davidson Ford is the real deal. No games; only nice people. We drove up the next day (today). Chris Anderson and Kate Burrows worked hard to get us in an out (my spouse had to get a plane this evening and i had to get our kids). Everything was great. Happy and nice people. They even somehow found us a better interest rate than the ridiculously low rate our own bank offered to us (so low that it was almost free money). Lloyd had us test drive the car before we signed, and he taught us more about the C-Max in the test drive than all other dealers did combined. After we bought it, he even programmed my phone for bluetooth. My only regret is that we had to leave before Lloyd could finish teaching us about all of the technology---although he offered us all of his contact info and said he would be happy to schedule return visits for us to learn the tech features. I don't usually write reviews, but particularly after being burned by another dealer's games, i had to write to say that Bob Davidson Ford is a class act. Thanks so much. More

I needed parts for a 2004 Ford Excursion, and called to the parts counter around 215 in the afternoon and spoke with Clyde, he was very knowledgeable of the exact parts I needed and he didnt hesitate to te the parts counter around 215 in the afternoon and spoke with Clyde, he was very knowledgeable of the exact parts I needed and he didnt hesitate to tell me a timeframe on backordered parts I needed. He promptly called me the very next morning and told me that my parts were in and when I arrived, he was very courteous and explained to me in more detail about how to make sure the parts were correctly installed. It was a great experience for me to have someone that took the time to go the extra mile to find the parts and to have them available the following day. You just cant get that service anywhere else.
