I recently met with Sales Representative Mr. Gene Walsh (Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln) in search for a pre-owned 2006 Lincoln Zephyr. Last year, I was involved in a head-on collision with my previous Lincoln (Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln) in search for a pre-owned 2006 Lincoln Zephyr. Last year, I was involved in a head-on collision with my previous Lincoln Zephyr and as a result, my insurance company declared my vehicle a total loss. After walking away from such a terrible accident, I decided to shop for another Lincoln Zephyr while knowing the challenges I would face given the vehicle was only manufactured for 2006. Despite the challenges, I continued my search for the Lincoln Zephyr which proved to be a vehicle built strong; and besides, capable of saving my life. Loving everything about the Lincoln Zephyr, I started my search via online. While communicating with over twenty Ford and Lincoln dealers in the Maryland and Pennsylvania area – I was getting frustrated that everyone was telling me the Lincoln Zephyr was not available and that it had been replaced by the Lincoln MKZ. Well, I didn’t want the Lincoln MKZ (although a really nice vehicle) – I wanted the Lincoln Zephyr because it meant more to me. I finally met Sales Representative Mr. Walsh and shared with him my desires to locate a Lincoln Zephyr. Mr. Walsh understood my request and desires. It turned out that Mr. Walsh was the only sales representative (out of many) who did not try to force me into a different model vehicle such as: Lincoln MKZ, Lincoln MKX. Instead, Mr. Walsh cared very much about meeting my needs without focusing on putting me into a vehicle I did not want. Mr. Walsh provided me with excellent customer service and support. He stayed in communication with me throughout my entire search for the Lincoln Zephyr. Often times I felt that I was being a little picky by requesting that my next Lincoln Zephyr be equipped with: a factory installed navigation system, black-on-black interior / exterior, and sunroof top. After sharing my desires, Mr. Walsh did not hesitate to stick to the plan of locating this vehicle for me to include all of the perks I identified. Mr. Walsh remained professional, friendly and helpful during the entire vehicle purchase process. He felt the importance of excellent customer service and as a result, I was completely satisfied with the experience. Had it not been for Mr. Walsh – I am not sure if my experience would have been the same. When Mr. Walsh located my 2006 Lincoln Zephyr – he asked me to visit his dealership so that I could see full details of the vehicle in person. After seeing this vehicle – and knowing the love and history I have involving it – brought back a lot of joy to the point that I couldn’t hold back on my emotions. I broke down and cried right there on the lot and in front of Mr. Walsh who respectfully allowed me some time (and support) to emotionally get myself together. Mr. Walsh told me he was touched. What was so hard for me is that everyone (the other dealers) told me that it would be impossible to locate the Lincoln Zephyr. Well, I would love to tell them now that Mr. Walsh from Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln found my vehicle with no motive of selling me something else off the lot. I just had to have my Lincoln Zephyr and Mr. Walsh made it happen. Mr. Walsh made my pre-owned car search experience a great one and he understood my passion for becoming a Lincoln Zephyr owner again. If anyone is looking for a pre-owned vehicle – I recommend they go to Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln and ask for Sales Representative Mr. Gene Walsh. We were looking for a 2012 Lincoln MKZ & found one @ your dealership while searching online. We called & spoke with Sam Robertson & asked him about the car. He was very honest and knowledgeable. We asked him to REALLY look over the car, inside and out, & look for any marks of any kind. He took many pictures with his phone & sent them to us. He even took a few close up shots of one of the tire rims that had a very small spot on it.(taking a shot of his thumb next to the spot to show in comparison) We were interested & asked him if we came to see it, can he have it cleaned up & in the showroom so we can look it over. He assured us he will have it ready for us. Boy did he deliver his promise! We live in Syracuse NY, was having below zero temperatures & a snow storm but we left on Friday, Jan 3 to meet with Sam & view the vehicle on Saturday morning. We walked in the showroom & there was the vehicle ,SPOTLESS, and ready for us to view, as promised. We met Sam & everything went as smooth as it possibly could have. We bought the vehicle because it was immaculate, the price was right and we had Sam on our side. Our experience with buying a car from Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln was seamless. Everyone was great from start to finish. We also bought a Premium Maintenance Plan that our local certified Lincoln dealership will honor in Syracuse.
