Mike, I'm sorry if you felt that we were trying to lie to get you in the door. Since you already asked for an 84 month 7% interest, that payment is $650 per month and a calculator can tell you that. The trade in is obviously the kicker and we don't know what a trade is worth until it's here and we appraise it. $5000 in equity would get you the $550 payment you were looking for. I have the email where I said if you could get me 4% interest we could make it work for my needs. You quoted me over 7% interest actually. The 7% was what I stated I could get from my personal bank. Whatever makes you guys feel good about the situation you just go with that. I wasted five hours when you guys should have said no way we can get that close. Don’t get me in the door and try to find a used truck for that payment price point. I specifically was asking about a certain truck.

DONT CHANGE ANYTHING! He’s a great salesman. I have 16 years experience in sale being a retail trainer. I have an eye for talent and he’s got it. He’s self motivated, has the desire to CONNECT with his customer. Ask probing questions in casual convo. That alone is the hardest talent for a sales person to gain. I personally feel it’s a GIFT not a teachable talent. He’s got it. Just give him all the knowledge you require your team to learn and he’ll be a manager soon. 2nd month could’ve FOOLED ME! Loved everything about Derek’s pitch and approach to selling.
