Mike Cherico has been my Service Advisor for over 10 years, and has helped me with 3 different VW's (2002 Jetta, 2003 Bettle Turbo S, and now a new 2012 Passat SE). My primary reason for purchasing our years, and has helped me with 3 different VW's (2002 Jetta, 2003 Bettle Turbo S, and now a new 2012 Passat SE). My primary reason for purchasing our new Passat at Bradenton VW is because of my past experiences with Mr. Cherico. Mike is a consumate professional. He always greets me no matter how busy he may be at the time. He is honest and truthful in the amount of time any repair might take and estimated costs for repairs. In fact, Mike always seeks the best deal or discount on products and services for my VW's. On this occasion, we had to come in to the dealership because our key fob would not remotely unlock the doors. Mike took the key fob and tried to make it work, then concluded (correctly) that it needed to be reprogrammed. He said it would take about 30 minutes. While we were waiting, we asked to see our salesperson, Chris (I don't remember his last name, and I don't even have his business card). Apparently Chris was too busy with a potential customer to even come by to say hello, so we waited in the customer lounge. Mike arrived in 30 minutes with our re-programmed key fob and our just-washed Passat. When he asked if there was anything else we needed, we told him that we had not even received a new-car walk-through of the Passat and didn't know how some of the electronics functioned. Mike took the time to go through the entire new car delivery process with us, going above and beyond what anyone would ever expect a Service Manager to do. If fact, we have had to return to the dealership 4 times now because of missing ietms or broken promises. We still have not received the full tank of gas promised when we initially bought the car (the first thing we had to do was stop for gas on the way home) nor the "Thank you gift" for purchasing a new car from Bradenton VW. We have had to return for the second car key, the Owner's manual, and a revised sales contract. If I had anything to say about it, I believe that Mike Cherico should have received the commission for the sale of our new Passat. He has made sure that he has been with me and my wife every time we have appeared at the dealership and has provided extraordinary service and freindship. I will recommend your dealership to everyone! More
