Took my 2012 VW Jetta 2. 5 SE in to check on my clutch which was intermittingly sticking about half way from coming all the way back up. However, I could still pop it back up 5 SE in to check on my clutch which was intermittingly sticking about half way from coming all the way back up. However, I could still pop it back up with my foot. VW Service was busy and backed up so they said it could take some time to get to it. After 5 days I called them to check on it and they said they had two mechs drive it and could not repeat the problem, So I was charged a svc fee of $200. However, the problem represented itself on my way home which was not far. This had me scratching my head to what the problem was, maybe just a clutch spring, which is an easy repair that even I could do. A week later my clutch failed and stuck to the floor on I-275 in stop and go traffic. very dangerous and it left me stranded there for 4 hours until I got a ride. FHP towed my vehicle to an impound lot which cost me $200 to get out. I took my car to Kaufman Auto in Sarasota Off Whitefield and Roger and his team accessed a failed clutch and Slave Sleeve, fixed it and I had my car back within days. I don't recommend VW for anything and will never go back again. I should have just stuck with Kaufman Auto, who will be getting all my business from this day forward. More

I had a tear in my front driver’s side tire while traveling through the area. I got off the highway and found this dealership just before closing time. I made an appointment to bring my 2008 Vw Beetle in for repairs. I was having trouble with lights coming on and stalling out, etc. I could not get in until just about one month later. Five days before repairs. I was having trouble with lights coming on and stalling out, etc. I could not get in until just about one month later. Five days before my appointment I had so much trouble with my car not running correctly, stalling out, not going over 20mph, bucking, I somehow managed to get it to the dealership. In my opinion it was not drivable. The service department was not helpful. They had no loaner cars. I was supposed to reserve one I was told. I had no other vehicle to use. They were not helpful in any way. They had no idea when they were going to look at it or how long I wouldn’t have a car. However, the worst part was still to come. They then told me they couldn’t work on my car as they had no mechanics who worked on “older cars.” Even though I’ve been going to them for a number of years. AND I had already waited 3 1/2 weeks without anyone mentioning this to me. Needless to say this was the worst service I have ever received from ANY company. I will not be going there again. More
