There was a hidden freight charge that didn't come up until I was hours into the car buying experience, even though I'd reviewed options online, spoken with someone on the phone, and then come in. I spoke with someone the day before visiting and identified a car I was interested in. I arrived at the dealership around noon, and they couldn't find my car. And then they couldn't find the next car. So I left to give them time to get their xxxx together, then came back. I drove the car. I agreed to buy the car. And then it was hours before I was able to leave. It was after 5pm before I was finally out of the dealership. Maybe that's normal. Maybe I'm naive to expect something different. Maybe I should have just walked out when I spotted the hidden charge. I definitely regret paying it. More
