I have been having my car serviced at this dealership since 2006. I am always greeted well and profesionally. I get all my maintenance done here. In fact I had a concern and was prepared to pay when Mr. since 2006. I am always greeted well and profesionally. I get all my maintenance done here. In fact I had a concern and was prepared to pay when Mr. Tappa explained it was covered under my warranty. They know who I am when I come in and get me in and out. I usually wait for the car to be done, but once, I had to leave it and they offered me a loaner an no extra cost. Can't really say enough about the place. Very good dealership to deal with. And at my age, I have dealt with many, from Houston Texas to York Pa. and everywhere in between. Thanks to the entire Bob Bell family. More
I would not recommend this dealership at all! My fiancee and I had went in to look for a vehicle for her. We took two vehicles for a test drive, then we were told we had to do a credit check. My fiancee was and I had went in to look for a vehicle for her. We took two vehicles for a test drive, then we were told we had to do a credit check. My fiancee was not pleased with either vehicle she test drove. Instead of trying to find a car that fit around my fiancees' work, school, and day to day activities they were trying to just "get a sale". When they pulled her credit history, she has very limited credit, we were told "you have a problem" who in their right frame of mind would tell a customer you have a problem. Then to be told that we would not be able to co-sign for a loan due to us not living together. From the start niether of us felt comfortable dealing with this sales representative. And to basically be told go ahead and go elsewhere because you will be back is outright insulting. I understand as a car salesman you are commission based and my fiancee and I may not have been buying an expensive vehicle, it is nice to be treated as though you are wanted as a customer. I did not get that experience at all. I have gone a long enough rant, plain and simple Bob Bell Ford - You will never get any of my business. In the grand scheme of things I may not effect your business, but I will do whatever it takes to tell friends and family, not to go to you business for a new or used vehicle. More
I was completely ripped off by this dealership, they installed used parts on my brand new veichle !!!!!!!! Then i returned to get my first oil change and tire rotation (only reason i went there was b/c installed used parts on my brand new veichle !!!!!!!! Then i returned to get my first oil change and tire rotation (only reason i went there was b/c it was complementary) and after waiting 8 hours in their poorly decorated, plain, and uncomfortable waiting room, the work was not performed. I secretly marked the oil filter with a sharpie and marked the tires with chalk on the inside and when i got the vehicle back everything was the same. NOTHING HAD BEEN CHANGED OR ROTATED !!!!! I went to service writer, cashier, manager and general manger and No one could help or explain. Wrote a letter to Ford and they said theres nothing they could do b/c each dealership is individually and privately owned. STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

Went in with a specific problem — engine missing due to degradation caused by leaking valve cover gasket and oil contamination. Got a phone call back stating that it would cost ~$1,000 to "fix the pro degradation caused by leaking valve cover gasket and oil contamination. Got a phone call back stating that it would cost ~$1,000 to "fix the problem". Detailed estimate had the dealer replacing the gasket, ignition wires, spark plugs, and doing a general oil cleanup in the area. Also, there were $400 in line items for "injection system cleaning" and "major tuneup". Now, it was probably true that I needed a new valve cover gasket, ignition wires, and maybe spark plugs. I'll never know. The "injection system cleaning" and "major tuenup" charges were bogus. I resent the implication that these were necessary to fix the problem. I also resent the ~$600 charge for parts and labor that could have been done for half-price at a local repair shop. Mostly I resent the implication that I could be taken for a sucker by claiming that 1,000 would be "necessary" to fix my car's problem. The $1,000 estimate contained a lot of padding. I ended up paying ~$600 for the "truly necessary" repairs (which were done very well). I couldn't back out because I would have to pay a $90 (?) diagnosis fee. An elderly or naive customer could have been taken for $1,000 for repairs that could be done elsewhere at $300. I left with the feeling that this dealer's repair shop could not be trusted to minimize their customers' repair costs. More
I give Bob Bell Ford, and specifically the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Dept, the highest score possible for several reasons - they are honest, knowledgeable and caring people who did not treat me like just Vehicle Sales Dept, the highest score possible for several reasons - they are honest, knowledgeable and caring people who did not treat me like just another "sale". While I have had "decent" experiences purchasing cars in the past, my experience with Bob Bell Ford is clearly the best ever (I have purchased 7 used cars over the years). I went to the dealership to look at a specific car (Subaru Forester they had on trade) and was under unusual constraints...my own Forester had recently been totaled in an accident, and I had 48 hours use of a rental car while I still awaited a check (my sole means of paying for another car)from the insurance co. When I arrived at Bob Bell, every person I met was welcoming, informed and helpful. Luckily for me, I became a prospective customer of Mr. Don Miller (Asst Mgr), from whom I got a very good feeling even before test driving the Subaru Forester (2005) and then sitting down to talk further. He listened to my situation, my financial constraints, the fact that I am self-employed without a guarenteed "paycheck", and the fact that the insurance co. was not being helpful or cooperative. (How is one, realistically, supposed to find and buy a replacement car without transportation/considerable extra cash/a check from the insurance co. in 2 days?) Despite the misfortune of the accident, I felt very fortunate to have met Mr. Miller, who went far above and beyond what anyone would expect in order to help me. I honestly felt, through all of my interactions with Mr. Miller, that he was trying very hard to actually help me, not just sell me a car. Not only did he work in an honest and kind manner to put me in the vehicle I wanted with the (limited) funds I had to work with, he juggled the various obstacles involved (my transportation, money and insurance company issues) like the pro that he is (I learned his career in sales spans 25 years of experience). Mr. Miller did not say "I'll go out of my way for you" - he just did it. His actions made it clear that he viewed me as an individual with individual circumstances- not just the next sale. Similarly, I was very impressed with the woman who handled my tag/title work (Missy) and with the lot attendant (Darryl). Missy was professional, knowledgeable and so innately nice, and Darryl (who I am certain is mentally challenged, and told me he considers Bob Bell Ford his "family") helped me in several ways including the thorough detailing of my vehicle. He was so polite, interesting and funny. My positive feelings about Bob Bell Ford were enhanced by seeing first-hand that the dealership hires people with various challenges, which obviously extends to their interest in selling to people with various challenges....I am so happy with my "new" vehicle and never expected the buying experience to be the one positive thing that came out of the whole accident debacle. I was very much dreading having to find another car, and so quickly. Mr. Miller, and all of the other people I met at Bob Bell Ford, made what I expected to be a tedious and aggravating experience the exact opposite. I would encourage anyone who is looking for an excellent used vehicle of any type and under any circumstance to contact Bob Bell Ford (and specifically Mr. Dick Miller)for assistance. Mr. Miller told me he does not view his job as "selling" so much as matching the right car to the right customer (I am paraphrasing his words). I liked his philosophy very much, because my father (whose career was in real estate) often told me the same thing- he wasn't into selling but in matching the right home with the right person....I was sincerely impressed with Mr. Miller's integrity and kindness. I was able to test drive 2 different Escapes and then asked for the E friendly staff person approached me and offered for me to test drive some cars. I was able to test drive 2 different Escapes and then asked for the Edge. After test driving the Edge, Terry gave me very knowledgeable information about both vehicles. She sat down with me and went over all aspects of each vehicle. Terry new the information very well and gave advice for the kind of car that would suite me best.
