Mis-represented publicly posted price The boardwalk Honda car that caught my eye was the Honda HRV. Wow great looking car! On the lot there was a used one in my favorite color with a lar The boardwalk Honda car that caught my eye was the Honda HRV. Wow great looking car! On the lot there was a used one in my favorite color with a large dayglow window sticker price of $18,500. Discussed this with a salesman who said yes that was the price. When we went to the sales manager. We were advised it was "mis labeled" and the real price was the smaller price on the side window. They would not honor the price even tried to negotiate the price to at least close to the publicly advertised price. But to no avail. I made the deal despite this as I needed a car and was tired and hungry. Felt the old bait and switch! Thought about filing complaint with BBB. But couldn't be bothered as the sales manager explained the legal listed price was on the drivers side window and not the large one on the windshield and the did not have to honor the publicly displayed price. He insisted it was an honest mistake by a low staff member. Then as we drove away we noticed a small damage impact spot and scrape to the bumper that was not there when we agreed on the vehicle prior to detailing and fueling. They did repair thisat no for that a later date. More
