I purchased a Maserati in Feb. and had great experience with Lindsey as my salesperson, she has allot of knowledge about the car and it's performance. Seven months later I went to Boardwalk Plano Ferrari Maserati to test drive the California, it was also a pleasant experience, and I went back again and test drove the Italia, and decided to switch to the Italia. In both test drives of the California and the Italia, Lindsey was very knowledgeable of the details and encouraged me to test the car for what it would do, it was a driving experience. I am very happy to be owner of a 2012 Ferrari Italia car. I would recommend to everyone chk out the dealership, they were all so friendly. RM More
I had a terrific experience with Boardwalk...on and after my second visit after we called about the California we found on EBay. Originally, late one Saturday afternoon, my partner and I walked into Boardwa my second visit after we called about the California we found on EBay. Originally, late one Saturday afternoon, my partner and I walked into Boardwalk and saw a red California on the showroom floor. We oohed and aaaahed about it, opened the door, got in, sat in it. I was in love! But it was a convertible. I didn't want a soft cloth top car. After a while Nathan came out, introduced himself and showed us that the top went up and was also a coupe. I was thrilled, especially after I was going to buy a SLS AMG but couldn't reach the gullwing doors to close. He showed us what the various buttons meant on the dash and console. I asked what the PS button was for...Nathan said "It's complicated...you'll never use it." I had a check in my purse and would have bought the California on the spot. But Nathan told us it was sold. We asked if he had any others available. He said it takes about 8 months to get a new one, but that he could find us one for probably less without as many bells and whistles which we would never notice (like the bench in the back seat or perhaps the Handling Speciale Package?). We left and immediately looked online Saturday night. Curiously, we found one at Boardwalk for sale. We were shocked that Nathan had not mentioned the car, especially since it was almost exactly like the one on the showroom floor AND with less bells and whistles. I assumed that Nathan would call me first thing Monday morning to tell me about the car that was on EBay (and maybe forgot about?). Instead, we finally called just before noon about the car on EBay and spoke with Lindsey. Lindsey explained that the car was at Bent Tree CC on display but would be back on Tuesday. We drove out Tuesday afternoon and she had the car out front ready for a ride. When I got in the car, she explained quickly and efficiently how it all worked and let me go. It fit me perfectly. I asked Lindsey about the PS button. She said "Oh my gosh, it's awesome! It's like a launcher, but you'll have to try it in a giant empty parking lot first to get the hang of it." She explained how it worked and what it was for without a hint that it would be too much for me to handle or that it was something that I would never use. Quite frankly it made me angry that the previous salesman assumed that it would just be too complicated for me to understand. I did eventually get an email from Nathan late Monday afternoon...but we had already spoken to Lindsey about the EBay California and felt that since she was the one that knew about the car, she should be the one that we worked with. She was of the ultimate professionalism and seemed almost more excited that I was getting this fabulous car than I was! Lindsey bent over backwards to make sure that I completely understood every aspect of the Ferrari that I was prepared to absorb. She offered to set up my iPod download, to have my new ride washed whenever I was around the area, future tutorials, and made us feel that we were welcome at any time. I love my new car and wouldn't have found it here in Dallas if I hadn't gone on EBay!!! I would underline that last sentence if I could. Sincerely, Kelli Herd More
I honestly don't know where to start on the customer experience from Boardwalk and their staff. Having over 20 years of experience purchasing cars there is not even a single experience that compares to experience from Boardwalk and their staff. Having over 20 years of experience purchasing cars there is not even a single experience that compares to working with the Boardwalk team. This is my second vehicle from Boardwalk Ferrari/Maserati, and 3rd from Boardwalk (Porsche), and can't imagine going to another dealership. Lindsey is extremely knowledgable on all factors in relation to the different models, competitive strengths and weaknesses, performance and helps the buyer look at all variables associated with the decision, in the most professional manner. She follows up on questions timely, both pre-purchase and post to confirm all is going well. Absolutely the best sales person I have worked with over the years. Brian has to be the most professional finance manager I have ever worked with, helping balance options and always has the client's interest as the priority. While I had other options for financing, but I was willing to pay a premium given his personal care and followup. What a great asset to the boardwalk team. I would also call out the great advise and support from Enver on the trade-in and purchasing process, the experience would not have been as great without his support and involvement. And I should also mention the great service and parts team, always a pleasure to work with on the Ferrari, making me feel as if the dealership was a home for both myself, and my son Kade. Special thanks to Larry, Randy, Memo, and Chris. As an executive at IBM (with a role on driving our customer experience strategies), and also in public office, we don't by practice give recommendations, and given personal time constraints I don't do surveys, but feel obligated to make an exception so others give Boardwalk the opportunity to earn their business. I put my personal name on this recommendation, and a "5" rating doesn't do justice on the customer experience. This is easily one of the best dealerships that I have ever worked with. Lindsey was fantastic to work with, as were Enver and Brian. I recently traded in my 360 for a pre-owned California. When I told Lindsey and Enver that I was considering this, they took the time to see what I was looking for, and to go over all of the options with me. They made me a very fair offer on my trade, as well as a very fair sales price offer. After deciding on my new vehicle, the remainder of the transaction went off without a hitch. Everyone took the time to address all of my concerns and make sure I was completely satisfied. Brian took care of all of the financial details for me so that when I arrived, everything was already done. Lindsey took the time to make sure everything was ready with the car and to go over all of the vehicle's specifics with me. She also followed up with me to make sure I had no problems or questions. Our goal became to confirm our emotional side while balancing out the utility needs. Lindsey Redfern greeted us and quickly became our advisor answering both technical and silly questions regarding the Maserati product line up. While I chattered away asking many questions, the entire staff without exception made us feel comfortable, welcome and most importantly, like they absolutely appreciated our visit regardless of our purchasing decision. Lindsey patiently addressed all concerns and helped us through the buying process. While we had many other options other than Boardwalk, it was the atmosphere of a helpful staff. Never once did we feel that this was a transactional sale applied with pressure. It was and is a great relationship that has developed and we’re looking forward to purchasing another vehicle from Boardwalk…. Ferrari ? We love the Maserati so much, we may have get another!
