My visit to Bo Beuakman was anything but pleasant. I seen a car in their used inventory that I wanted to check out. They said it was ready for me to look at. When I got to the dealership, they assigned me a salesman named Jeff Liberty. Jeff was nice at first and showed me the car, saying there were no known problems with it. I decided to take it to my mechanic for him to inspect it, and there were 4 codes that came up: Engine misfire, heating element in mirror, Front looking sensor, and O2 sensor delayed response. My mechanic said that the codes on the car had been previously erased by the dealership, so they were going to sell a car "as-is" to the general public without getting those things fixed. I am very thankful I had a trustworthy mechanic to look it over for me. Halfway through my test drive, the check engine light even came on! Fast forward to when I got back to the dealership; I told them all the problems with it, and they said they would reach out to me when it was done, implying they would fix those issues. The initial test drive was on (6/5/2024). I didn't receive any updates for a couple of days and through the weekend. I did get in contact with Jeff, and he said his mechanic finally looked at it and said they were not fixing anything except for the misfire on startup. Side note: The forward looking sensor is very important for the safety of the car. If you were driving with adaptive cruise control and that wasn't on you would run right in the back of the car you would be following. He said okay and fixed the problems, but it was a hassle, over multiple days, phone calls, texts and waiting. Today (6/13/2024) Jeff reached out and said all problems were fixed, and it's ready to hit the lot. I said great, I will come in to purchase, but I get off at 5. He said their dealership closed at 6, but we could at least get the ball rolling. I managed to get off work at 1:30 to get this deal done. I lost out on money from working to go talk numbers with Jeff. When I got there, I told him I have a trade-in, and he took my keys to go drive my car. I overheard him talking with his manager when Jeff got back, and Jeff said it was a very clean car. He came back into his office where I was, and he said since the age and mileage on the car is the way it is, we can only give you $500. I was wanting to get a warranty on the car, and the best price they could do was $3500 for a 46k/4-year warranty. For reference, the used car had 119,528 miles on it. He didn't know for sure what that warranty actually covered. It's hard to believe that he has been in the game for 10+ years and doesn't know what is included in the warranty. I told him this is getting out of my price range considering the warranty. He then repeatedly asked me what my maximum monthly payment would be. I told him I would like the out-the-door price, and he couldn't get that to me. He also said that he couldn't tell me how much they paid for the car. Knowing that Kelly Blue Book for the used car I was looking at was max $11,121. They had it listed at $13,000. Jeff said he would have to raise the price even more if I didn't get the car because of all the "work" that was done on it. I asked him how much they actually paid for the "work," and he couldn't tell me. The work they did was no more than $300 with what they were going to fix. He said anything he could to not give me the information I needed and said stuff like "that's not my department." He used all his sales tactics on me to say this is a great car, and you shouldn't pass it up. I will also say during the weekend of (6/7) I looked at their website to see if anything changed, and the car price did change and was set at $14,500. I checked the next day, and it was back to $13,000, but that also didn't sit right with me. This dealership is shady and time-consuming. I felt like Jeff was trying to get me into a bad car with a bad deal. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They deleted my google review! More
I have been a Bo Beuckman customer for over 10 years both in purchasing vehicles and having my vehicle serviced there. First of all the service department is amazing. Even after I moved miles away into a dif in purchasing vehicles and having my vehicle serviced there. First of all the service department is amazing. Even after I moved miles away into a different county I still drive to have my vehicle serviced at Bo Beuckman Ford. They are extremely professional, kind, knowledgeable, and interested in what my needs are. They only service what I request and don't try to sell me unnecessary repairs or servicing to my car just to make a buck. Regarding the sales staff again these are professional client focused sales professionals. I especially want to thank Jeremy Guijosa who just helped me finalize my purchase of a 2024 Ford Maverick yesterday. What a journey! From ordering last july, keeping me informed of the status, and then making the final closing process so seamless and easy. This is the second car I've purchased from Jeremy and I intend to refer him to friends and family and have him assist me in my next purchase whenever that may be. Again Jeremy is focused on his customers needs and not on just selling them a car to make a buck. I cannot recommend Jeremy, and the entire dealership enough. More
Great job by the salesman Craig Habermehl. He kept us informed. Worked hard finding us rebates. I would definitely recommend this dealership and the sales people. He kept us informed. Worked hard finding us rebates. I would definitely recommend this dealership and the sales people. More
