Had a pretty positive sales experience, I liked my salesman and he was pretty honest and straightforward. However, I allowed myself to be talked into purchasing 2 optional warranties (my own fault, I salesman and he was pretty honest and straightforward. However, I allowed myself to be talked into purchasing 2 optional warranties (my own fault, I should have known better as theses are almost always scams). One is for "free" oil changes, the other is for "free" tires. This dealership is about 30 minutes away from my home, and I was told by the finance manager that in order to utilize the oil change warranty, I would be able to go to a different Blasius dealer, like the one in my hometown. This turned out to be a 100% lie. When I pointed this out to the finance manager, I was told I should be able to cancel this optional warranty, due to dishonest sales tactics. However, after many calls and emails, the dealer eventually ignored me and this fell by the wayside. You also end up waiting almost 2 hours for an oil change, and this is with an appointment. The tire warranty is even worse... I had some wear on my front tires, so I was told by the service department that they would replace those 2 front tires for free using the optional warranty. I made an appointment, and waited well over 2 hours just to have the 2 tires put on. This is for an AWD vehicle, and when I got the car back, I was surprised to see that the 2 new tires did not match the ones currently on the vehicle. I don't know much about cars, but I know that having mismatched tires on an AWD vehicle is definitely not good. In addition to that, the new tires were slightly over inflated, and the 2 rear tires were way underinflated. Now my rear tires were already underinflated when I brought the car in, I have no doubt. But the fact that the service team, after having my car for almost 2.5 hours couldn't match up the tire pressure on all 4 tires, is shocking. On my way home from the dealer, my car was shaking pretty bad on the highway. This is a 1 year old car with 25k miles, and it had definitely never had that problem before. The worst part is, the "free" tire warranty, they charge you $75 per tire to install them... So in addition to the monthly fees added on to your loan, you have to pay $75 per tire... In other words, I paid way more for those 2 tires than I would have buying them from my local tire shop- and had I gone that route I have no doubt they could have handled getting the tire pressure correct, and in a lot less time than 2.5 hours. The fact that this dealership actively tries to scam all their customers by pushing these dishonest, scam warranties should give anyone pause. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing your Kia elsewhere. In trying to bring this to the management's attention, I was largely ignored, and offered no solutions whatsoever. More
Just bougt a used vehicle ($30k) from them. Had it a week or two. Noticed a few problems with it (one major) and they said they'd take a look. After a week or so, and emailing several people in management who never responded directly, they took it in. Then someone in service called and said those issues weren't covered. I asked him to speak to management... He called me back and said they'd send it to a dealer of it's manufacturer using the extended warranty I had purchased from them (not a Kia). It turned out the engine issue was covered 100% by the manufacturer. I'd think they'd have checked that before calling me back saying they only cover safety issues. (Not sure that's consistent with CT law either) It's been gone a week or more and I was waiting on results to do a review but their management has emailed me yet again to review them. I have dealt with Jason Rodriguez for years at Blasius Chevrolet Cadillac buying many new Chevrolets. My grandparents bought cars in the early 50’s all the way through 1972. I currently have a 2021 Equino Chevrolet Cadillac buying many new Chevrolets. My grandparents bought cars in the early 50’s all the way through 1972. I currently have a 2021 Equinox and was happy to follow Jason to Kia Blasius to purchase a used car for my wife. It had been quite a while since we purchased a used vehicle. My experience at the Kia Blasius dealership was flawless. Christian Aguilar was attentive to all our concerns and quickly addressed them. We had a couple of things we wanted remedied before we purchased, and Jason met us with an agreeable response. This team service, sales, and management operate in harmony. I would not expect less from a proven manager like Jason. Everyone at Kia Blasius seems very happy to work there, such a positive for any customer purchasing a new Kia or a quality checked used vehicle. More
Be extremely careful when buying a vehicle or getting yours back because you could possibly die from them tinkering with it! I wouldn't suggest anyone to business here!I bought a 2019 wrx an knew if one mod but it turns out it has several an now they want me to pay out of pocket then them eventually pay me back .I went and got my car I traded in which was a 2017 wrx limited an almost died because of the mechanic not properly tightens down the right side bolts for the calipers and also the mounting bracket for the brake pads .I had to buy a new caliper/pads to fix the issue of the brake caliper coming off. Don't buy here! More
Set up an appointment to look at a used car, received confirmation online over text twice and an email to verify my appointment time. The morning of, I arrived and was told there was no record of my appointment and that the online reservation system was faulty. When they pulled the vehicle around, the interior was dirty, the car had driven through white paint and had obvious paint splatter on the wheel wells and doors, and there was a large dent/scratch in the body line of the side of the car filled in with the wrong color paint which was not shown in photos. The motor had oil on it and when questioned we were told it was from “just having an oil change” even though it was nowhere near the filter. I decided against test driving it and left unsatisfied. We were apologized to and told they shouldn’t have presented the vehicle to us that way, but we had already decided at that point to look elsewhere. More
Amazing experience, better than I ever could have imagined a dealership interaction going. Bryanna, our salesperson, assisted my girlfriend Catherine and I buying a used Ford Focus and we couldn’t be imagined a dealership interaction going. Bryanna, our salesperson, assisted my girlfriend Catherine and I buying a used Ford Focus and we couldn’t be happier with her. She was friendly, attentive, not too pushy , and let us test drive the car as we needed making sure we felt comfortable with the car . She was on top of any issues or concerns that we had and came up with prompt and reasonable solutions. We walked out of there feeling so confident in what we were doing and who was helping us . John, our closer, was amazing as well. Frank and upfront , it really felt like he was working with us instead of trying to trick us or pull a fast one . John was attentive and upfront and we both really appreciated that. 5 star experience, amazing customer support , would recommend to all our family and friends that they check out Blasius Kia for car purchases. If the owners of the dealership are reading this give Bryanna and John a raise! If anyone deserves it it’s them More
