The dealership itself was fine. It was quiet when I arrived shortly after noon on a Monday. There were no greeters, but I had an appointment setup with Ken. He was prompt in his initial response to my web inquiry, answered all of my questions, and was candid with me throughout my purchasing decision (which I appreciated). I like to buy from people I like and Ken is a very likable guy. Though I had an option to purchase a similar vehicle in Houston (though it was one year older - but cheaper!), I ultimately decided to go with Essence and Ken and made the 274 mile trip to finalize the deal. The no negotiation on the price was a different experience - I wasn’t accustomed to it and not sure if that took some of the fun out of the car buying experience. I will only give 3 stars in this area - I thought their price was fair, but not great (though maybe to be expected in the pandemic driven shortage of used cars). More

We found the vehicle we purchased through Facebook and messaged them and got a very quick response.
