Diagnostic fee, another pad the profit scheme Just returned from taking my car into Billion Chevrolet on West 12th Street in Sioux Falls. I waited 10 minutes in the service line up before being a Just returned from taking my car into Billion Chevrolet on West 12th Street in Sioux Falls. I waited 10 minutes in the service line up before being aknowledged by one of the 4 service reps on duty. Ironically that was the only service rep waiting on a customer when I arrived. Two of the other reps were glued to computer screens the entire time I was there. Numerous employees walked by my car and not one made eye contact or said hello. When I was eventually escorted to my service rep he first told me there was a $75 diagnostic fee. I asked if that was applied to the repair bill. He said no. I told him my car was leaking fluid onto my garage floor below the differential and he repeated it would be a $75 fee to determine where the leak came from. After careful thought I asked that he open the overhead door so I could leave and he did so. These people are not interested in service! The signage above the door says Customer Service Center. There is nothing about my experience that would hint at Customer Service! I have owned 7 Chevy Suburbans over the last 30 years. I will be trading my current in on a car not owned by a Billion dealership and sharing the why with as many as will listen! More
