Best experience buying a car It's nice to go into a dealership and not be pressured to purchase a vehicle, when we pulled in one guy asked if we needed help and we told him Tyler It's nice to go into a dealership and not be pressured to purchase a vehicle, when we pulled in one guy asked if we needed help and we told him Tyler was helping us so he let him know we were there. Both sales and finance areas were great to us. Answered any questions or concerns we had about purchasing, leasing a vehicle. We were in the drivers seat the entire time when deciding what we wanted. Never Again. I went there looking for a used Toyota. The salesman did not have a clue what the price of the vehicle I wanted was (or acted like he did). Even thoug I went there looking for a used Toyota. The salesman did not have a clue what the price of the vehicle I wanted was (or acted like he did). Even though I knew what the price was from their online listing, he seemed clueless. Instead of plugging the information on his computer, he wanted to take my name, phone number, email, etc. I informed him that I did not want him to run my credit as all I needed was the best price for the vehicle I had seen online. He mentioned in order for his manager to be able to access this, he would have to give a few details. He went back to his manager as he called him; shortly after, he would return with another paper asking for more details and wanting to plug my information in his system. I again reiterated I did not want to go through an application but that I wanted the price for the vehicle I had seen. He assured me not to worry and said "this is to get things going here, we will not run your credit" I mentioned to him the paperwork you have here says "Credit Application", he dismissed my point by stating this was just a formality. Even though he asked for my signature on the credit application form, he assured me he was not going to check my credit. He would keep assuring me he was going to get me a very good deal. Well, eventually when I refused to continue with his antics, he gave me a printout of the vehicle I was looking at with $1,000 taken off. His manager came by and asked if I did not want to buy a vehicle. I told him I was there for the price and then I can make my decision. I left the dealership that night and promised to return when I had more time. Once home, I got notification that Billion Chevrolet had checked my credit. I was furious. The next day, I got a call from the manager indicating he was hoping I would stop in. I informed him I was glad he called as I was planning on calling them to see why they ran my credit without my permission. He indicated "Well, you signed the credit application yesterday allowing us to run it" I couldn't believe it and obviously, I felt stupid. However, being this is America, I didn't think I would have much to worry about, I had trusted these idiots to lie to me and so I was the idiot after all. One thing led to another and the gentleman who called promised me to make things right and invited me to come by for him to make sure he would fix this. I asked him to send me a couple vehicles that would meet my needs, that never happened. His salesman called me and I asked him to do the same, that never happened. I made an appointment and stopped in to look at a few vehicles. When I made it, they both indicated they sent emails to me with vehicles (hard to believe both of their emails would miss my inbox). Well, again, the men haggled with me...but only on my trade in. The vehicle that I wanted they declined to reduce a cent on the asking price. They also gave me a low-blow offer on my trade-in. Additionally, the finance guy insisted that our payment would be over 500 with a 72 month term despite the fact that we would not take a loan term that was more than 60 months. He refused to hear when we said that our interest rate would be less than 3.24% that he had on his quote. That we would get our own financing at our local bank for way less. He just didn't care what my wife and I had to say. At the end of the whole thing, the manager who I would learn was just the finance guy rudely informed us he would not take our offer and was going to get our keys to get us on our way. To test the waters after the deal fell through, as the finance guy walked by us on his way out, I mentioned that I was willing to take an earlier deal that we had discussed, he looked at me and walked off saying "NO". This was unbelievably rude and pain filled experience. So, this past weekend, I decided to go back to my favorite dealership and leased a BRAND NEW Toyota Highlander at Cedar Rapids Toyota. I was only at the dealership for less than 4 hours during which I completed an application, traded my car for over 1,700 more than Billion's offer and ended up with my ideal payment. This vehicle I bought ended up being 10,000 more than I had initially wanted to spend but it did not matter to me. I got the vehicle that my wife likes. Billion Auto, you lost me as a customer, even before you gained me. More

Oil Change, Tire rotation, and slow leak of tire Brought my Terrain in for and oil change, tire rotation and to have them figure out why I was continually having to add air to a tire. They said they Brought my Terrain in for and oil change, tire rotation and to have them figure out why I was continually having to add air to a tire. They said they couldn't find a reason for the loss of air so I ask if they could dig a little deeper and they ended up finding a screw that was lodged in the tire. Initially I was going to be out in good time but with them having to go back and look at the tire again definitely extended my turn-around time. I'm glad I had them check again. They were very friendly and apologetic for not finding the issue initially. More
