Unable to service their own product line My car was caught in a local flood and the engine sucked up water and broke a connecting rod, put a hole in the engine block, etc. In other words, th My car was caught in a local flood and the engine sucked up water and broke a connecting rod, put a hole in the engine block, etc. In other words, the engine was shot. There was no water in the interior of the vehicle so the insurance company didn't total it out. They asked where I wanted to take it. I incorrectly ASSUMED that since Billion Automotive was the dealer that originally sold this car, perhaps they could repair my car faster and better than an independent shop. Boy was I wrong! I've been waiting for my car for 11 weeks and they STILL don't have the engine replaced. I've been told one story after another. I've been given dates to pick it up and then told it wasn't ready. Now they claim they can't get an engine from the factory and it may be months until I get it back. I've talked to the service advisors and the service manager and both are brushing me off. I'm attempting to talk to the GM but he is avoiding me. I'm at a loss what to do next. I'm tempted to hire a tow truck driver to go and pull it off their lot so I can deal with it myself. I will never do business with Billion Auto again. I also have a new hobby, taking my story to all corners of the internet in order to save others the hassle of dealing with this syndicate of incompetent buffoons. More

Never going to buy a vehicle from Billion Auto Group, again, First of all, allow me to say that it is impossible to place a review on the Billion Website. Apparently, over 80 customers have rated them a 4.9 but First of all, allow me to say that it is impossible to place a review on the Billion Website. Apparently, over 80 customers have rated them a 4.9 but just try to leave a comment. There is no way to do it, so I doubt those reviews are real. Secondly, I gave Billion a 2 start rating. It would have been a 5 star rating had they dealt with me honestly and respectfully, this time. I had a good experience with Billion in 1984 when they saved my credit rating. I had just been laid off from my logging job and could not make my truck payments, so I traded in my truck. In return, they sold me a used car for $150 that actually ran! A month or so later, I sold it for $300. They really bailed me out when I was down on my luck and I was hoping for a similar, positive experience, now that I have moved back to the area but fast forward to this week, 2017.. I went there, looking to buy a new RAM truck and trade in 2 vehicles. I already knew their NADA values and expressed in advance, that I needed the recommended NADA amount of more than $7K on the first trade as well as the recommended NADA or better on the other vehicle, in order to be able to be able to afford to finance a new vehicle. They knew this for atleast a week because before I worked with Tim Turvey, I worked with another salesman named Lee who at the time, said the dealership was going to finance me at payments I could not afford, so basically, they did not want to do the deal. A couple of days later, Tim Turvey contacted me and by this time, I had preapproved financing of my own. But instead of giving me a fair trade value, they gave me an insulting trade offer of $1,500.on the first vehicle they looked at. NADA was almost at $8K on it. Then the salesman who was also too unintelligent to understand information I told him regarding how much I could finance and how the values of the trades directly affected what I could buy (He had to ask his Sales Manager to explain it), further wisecracked, "Those are NADA values. We deal in real money, here." Really? As though car dealerships do not use NADA values to determine how much a trade in is worth. Dumb. That was the salesman, Tim Turvey. I was a car salesman once, in Renton, WA for a high volume dealership that also sold Dodges. The way these guys treat customers, neither the Salesman nor the Sales Manager would have made it, there. Keep in mind, the Sales Manager made the insulting offer. So obviously, the problems with the dealership go high in management. I should have rated them 1 or no star but I am loyal and my memory of a good deed 33 years ago, tells me to be fair. They are now the biggest auto dealer in Bozeman, MT and apparently are sitting fat and happy with money coming in from rich people who live near Big Sky and West Yellowstone, MT who apparently, can afford to pay $80K cash for a vehicle with or without a trade in. In short, they have lost their touch for the little man in the community they service. Thing is, l am not exactly poor and could afford almost a $50K truck. I guess when you become a multimillionaire owned dealership that is the largest in the area, there is a tendency to start thinking you're better than others and only cater to preferred (cash heavy) customers. But in my view, if this is how they want to do business, they should stick to elite product lines, like Mercedes, Cadillac, etc. Which really, only well-to-do people are going to be looking to buy, anyway. In closing, I will also say that I am working with other Salesmen from other dealerships. Some are just as incompetent as what I have described here. Others are very competent and are working hard to make a deal, even if it means they won't make a huge profit, doing it. I have a deal going on a RAM of more capability as the one I was talking to JD Billion about and in the final analysis, I will likely pay $12K less than Billion wanted to stick me with. Shop around, people. While it is nice to do business with a local dealership, only do so if they are really trying to earn your business and they are worth your business. More
Billion replaced my car no questions asked-lifelong customer Billion Auto Group was incredible to work while purchasing my car but especially when servicing my car. Doug Collins (service manager) and followed by Billion Auto Group was incredible to work while purchasing my car but especially when servicing my car. Doug Collins (service manager) and followed by Steve Stout (GM) were incredible to work with and made my experience delightful. Additionally, Jeff (sales manager and Lyle Sales) were great to me as well when purchasing my car initially. I purchased a Yukon XL Denali and at 4K miles, it began to have an annoying rattle noise when driving at 60mph. For the price of the car and with the expectation that a new car of this quality should drive like a dream with no noise, I wanted it fixed. Luckily, I bought the car from the right dealership. Doug in service was incredible to work with and worked with me tirelessly to resolve the problem. To make matters worse, the problem was sporadic and sometimes upon taking it into service, Doug would hear the noise and other times not. Of course, that is how it always seems to work in these situations and I thought due to the sporadic nature this would be a pain to resolve with service. That was far from the case. Doug took care of me and put in the paperwork to replace the car after going through the proper steps with GMC. I was not treated as annoying customer or pushed aside but instead with professionalism and understanding. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and have an issue along the way with replacing my car but that was simply not the case. Steve Stout said to me numerous times, " You don't need to worry about a thing, we will take care of you and handle it with GMC." I still was skeptical up until the very end but he was right, Billion took care of me. Even when GMC said they would not take care of 2K Northwest insurance detail package that I bought on top of the purchase price with my car I was skeptical that the dealership would reimburse me. I went in to plead my case with Steve and his reply was, "were you worried about this, don't even think about it. We are going to do the right thing." The GMC fulfillment center rep who I spoke with in this process even told me that they were extremely impressed with this dealership and their timeliness and through paperwork. They said most dealerships are difficult to work with during this process and they had people who were still waiting for their dealership to fill out paperwork from 5 months ago. My issue once approved was taken care of in less than three weeks. Bottom line, Billion was outstanding and my husband and I will be lifelong customers because we trust we will be taken care of! Buy your car here, no joke they are wonderful to work with and wonderful people. They get that customer service is paramount in their business. More
