Hi, I recently was looking to purchase a newer Toyota car. My 2007 Corolla was still running very good, but I was wanting to make a two vehicle trade due to parking issues and wanting a newer car. I found the Walsh dealership on a WEB search and I found a used Rav4 I wanted to look at. I called and it was still for sale. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted by Salesman Jake Elitzer. Jake and I talked about what type of car I was looking for and what vehicles I wanted to trade in. He showed me the car I had found on my WEB search and we took a nice long test drive. The drive helped me determine that this car wasn't the one for me. Jake and I then talked about what other Toyota cars might be a better fit for me. Just in the show room near where we were sitting was a new Corolla Cross Hybrid. Just sitting in the car, it seemed like a better fit for me. The manager had no problem moving the car from the show room outside so I could test drive it. Again, we went for a long test drive and this time it was a much better drive for me. The Hybrid car does take a little getting used to, but I decided to work out a deal with Jake and the Manager. Jake Elitzer was quite a help, respectful, patient, knowledgeable and I recommend him should you be looking for new or used car. More
Hello! I went in for a tire rotation & oil change earlier this month on my 2020 Corolla, all is well when I go in. I figured while I was there I could get an estimate on a 2024 Camry BUT to be perfectly honestly I wasn't going to buy a car. Thought well I’m going to wait. Jake Elitzer, reached out to me letting me know this is what we can do for you, I absolutely fell in love with my 2023 Toyota Camry he had brought out. The building was around closing time but I didn’t feel pushed or rushed to buying the car, didn’t feel as if they were trying to get me out of the building. Jake is a very calm, patient, intelligent & professional worker. Not only did I give Jake five stars, but this dealership as well. These ladies & gents whom work here are the best, above & beyond to satisfy customers needs. Big Thank You to the Toyota fam & would/did recommend to friends. More

On the day of purchase, everything was perfect. Kimberly is so friendly and knowledgeable. She patiently explained everything about the car and spent a good deal of time with us after we finished our paperwork. She made sure that we were comfortable with the car. Literally the worst dealership I've ever encountered. They are either the most dishonest or the most incompetent service department anywhere. I brought my brand new Toyota vehicle in for warranty repai They are either the most dishonest or the most incompetent service department anywhere. I brought my brand new Toyota vehicle in for warranty repair (around 3k) miles for some very obvious issues I was able to demonstrate. After waiting in the waiting area for more than 3 and a half hours they did absolutely nothing, said they couldn't replicate any of my complaints (that I had already shown them) and told me the issues weren't covered under warranty but they'd be happy to fix them for me out of pocket.. you know, the issues they couldn't replicate. When I complained they told me I should have taken my vehicle to where I purchased it instead of them. I contacted Toyota corporate who contacted the dealer so their service manager could contact me to address my concerns. Surprise surprise, he never contacted me. By the way, their service manager was contacted by Toyota on several occasions to contact me. He never did. So I took it to the dealer where I purchased it (I bet you can't guess why I didn't buy from Bill Walsh Toyota) and they immediately recognized the problem, ordered the parts, and fixed it under warranty. Toyota corporate later contacted me to apologize and admit that all of the issues I had should have been handled and covered under warranty by Bill Walsh. If Bill Walsh was the only option to purchase and service a Toyota, I'd never ever purchase a Toyota again. And since Bill Walsh practically has a monopoly for new and used cars in Ottawa, IL I'll be sure to spread the word and shop for cars in a different city. More
