Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. Great service today. The Porter/Greeters were so prompt and friendly. My Service advisor Danny Morris was super helpful and professional. He even went beyond and installed a turn signal bulb for me. Went in with a nail in my tire and dealer hasn’t had tire for my car for over a year. Told me sorry and good luck. Found tire an hour away and started on my way to get tire replaced. Tire went flat 5 minutes for my car for over a year. Told me sorry and good luck. Found tire an hour away and started on my way to get tire replaced. Tire went flat 5 minutes later on most dangerous highway. Stuck on side of road for hour and a half. Dealership should have never sent me on such an unsafe trip. Dealership should have put my car on rack and take off tire for me to take where I needed to take it. Fail!! More
