Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. Eddie was clutch my wife delivered a baby just days before my 2019 F150 was in your shop for a warranty wheel bearing. Our 2010 edge had a battery go bad that was put in by y'all, it was past the 36 mo before my 2019 F150 was in your shop for a warranty wheel bearing. Our 2010 edge had a battery go bad that was put in by y'all, it was past the 36 month warranty. Eddie leaving no stone unturned found out the battery had a pro rate warranty still. Your shop was busy and would have to have the car for a couple days to replace battery, this would leave us without transportation we needed to go to doctors appointments. Eddie was able to get a new battery in the car that day! He really came through with the battery situation so we could have a vehicle until my truck was out of the shop a few days later. Eddie Church Rocks!!! More
