Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. We were preparing to leave the next day for a long trip pulling our travel trailer when we noticed a fault error on the truck dashboard. The Bill Utter Service Department helped us out at the last minute w pulling our travel trailer when we noticed a fault error on the truck dashboard. The Bill Utter Service Department helped us out at the last minute with a situation involving a “Trailer Brake Module” fault on our F150. We could not attempt to travel without functioning trailer brakes. We called a Ford dealership closer to our location and were told that they wouldn’t be able to help us for at least a week. The next call was to Bill Utter, and a gentleman by the name of Tony K. listened to our circumstances and said “come on in and we will find a way to get you going again”. From the time we arrived, until they had us repaired and on the road again was 2 hours. We are so thankful to Tony and the entire team at Bill Utter service and will continue to use them in the future. Regards, John G More

I took my car in for a service, check engine light was on. They placed car on computer it said I need a fuel pump but part would not be in for over days and they wanted me to sign papers committing to p on. They placed car on computer it said I need a fuel pump but part would not be in for over days and they wanted me to sign papers committing to pay almost a 1.000.00 for fuel pump. I declined the service and was not willing to wait over 30 days for a part. The next morning car reset and check engine light went off and car is ruining fine. I called and spoke with Don service provider he told to me just watch it and should be ok to drive. I really don’t have 1000.00 just to give them and there is not part for over 30 days. More
