Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. Thought I'd give it another shot after a poor experience 2.5 years ago, as they are always sending service coupons my way. I made an appointment for an Oil Change, showed up to my appointment 10 minutes ear 2.5 years ago, as they are always sending service coupons my way. I made an appointment for an Oil Change, showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early and sat in the drive for 15 minutes and was told multiple times my advisor would be right out. He never showed so I went inside and told him I had an appointment for an oil change, he asked another guy to write up the ticket. As he is writing up the ticket, he tells me the wait is about 2 and a half hours. How is that service at a place called "Quick Lane" WITH an appointment? More
