I found a 2012 Ford Escape Limited on a Sunday afternoon. I came home got on PC, filled out info to be contacted. James Peek called me Monday morning. We set a time for 2:30 that afternoon. When I got th I came home got on PC, filled out info to be contacted. James Peek called me Monday morning. We set a time for 2:30 that afternoon. When I got there, James was tied up with another customer. John Garbo stepped up to help me. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about the car I was interested in. I found 3 things that needed attention. John said they would be taken care of. We went on a test drive, the whole time John was pointing out different features of the car. We pulled over at a little park so I could drive. While stopped John had hood open & back gate flipped up all the while pointing out more features. Sum it up, I bought the car. I have told my son and a fellow employee to see John when they get ready for a different vehicle. All of us are Ford people. Thanks, Merlin (Todd) Wemhoner More
I live near this dealership and 3 years ago tried to work with them to buy my wife a new mustang. My wife, unknown to me had also gone to the dealership to see what they had. She wanted a blue v6 mustang. No with them to buy my wife a new mustang. My wife, unknown to me had also gone to the dealership to see what they had. She wanted a blue v6 mustang. Not a big demand at all. We both got a run around for a week. they didn't have the color she wanted and they refused to even try to get one unless we signed an agreement to buy it sight unseen. The entire time, we were both treated poorly and like we were wasting their time(even before they knew they didn't have her color). We found the car she wanted 5 miles down the road at another Ford dealership. After buying the car she wanted, she continued to get calls from this dealership trying to convince her to settle for a different model and/or color. Fast forward 3 years. I wanted to buy a new f150 this month and stopped in to see what they had. They had exactly the right color and model I wanted. But after walking the lot and walking into the dealership for over an hour, no one bothered to see if I needed help. So I asked for help and was greeted with a sour attitude as if I was bothering the sales person by even being there. So once again I went 5 miles down the road and bought my truck from another dealership. I won't bother even stopping here next time. More
I went in looking to purchase a new Ford Focus. I spoke to the salesman about the first time buyer incentives, and he insured me that they have great programs. After reviewing my files he recommended that to the salesman about the first time buyer incentives, and he insured me that they have great programs. After reviewing my files he recommended that i have a co-signer. I turned in that information to him and was declined. A few weeks later I emailed him with a larger down payment offer. I had to re-send the email about 4 days later before I got a response. He told me he was pretty positive about it and he would get back to me later that day. After a week and a half of emailing and leaving him messages I finally was able to speak to the lady that answers the phone and explained his lack of effort. She instantly referred me to the financial department who sent me on to the Sales Manager because they could not find any paperwork. While speaking with him he informed me that my paperwork was never even submitted. He also let me in on the fact that none of their creditors even have a first time buyer program. Finally the next day he called and left a message that I had been denied and their was no reason to even come in. He did not seem like he wanted to sell a vehicle. No where in any of these conversations did they even mention working with me or a larger down payment. It was a flat out NO! They had very little kowledge about the rebates and programs offered and were not very helpful. They lacked any kind of effort or motivation. They acted like they were all millionaires who were only there because they were tired of sitting at home. More
