Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Paint and body shop was less than desirable. Everything started out fine. When it was time to pick my truck up, I arrived only to find that the passenger fender molding was NOT repaired. They j Everything started out fine. When it was time to pick my truck up, I arrived only to find that the passenger fender molding was NOT repaired. They just painted over the damage. The damage to the door was not fixed either. It was said that it was a shadow that I was seeing. Lets be clear here, I know what a straight line looks like and it was NOT straight. So, instead of getting my truck back when it was suppose to be done, it was another 3 days. After picking up my truck, I discovered that there was a part (Part of the glove box-gears) laying in the passenger floor. So, now I have to go back to the dealership for them to fix or order the repair parts to fix. They were able to fix the glove box and after the extended time at the shop the body damage was repaired as well. Extremely poor quality assurance, very disappointing. I bought my truck here and had a great experience but I will NOT use the body shop for any other repairs in the future. More
