Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. I had a rocky start with the car I purchased... car ended up being in and out of service, any time my car was in service I was provided with a loaner car. Kyle the preowned service manager is wonderful to work with and very kind. My car ended up being swapped out with a vehicle I absolutely love, it’s fully loaded and they matched my price. That’s how WONDERFUL these people are. Phil, my salesman, and Ken, the preowned manager worked absolute magic. I have no idea how they did it, but they DID. I AM SO PLEASED. Phil is so great y’all, ask for him!!! As if I thought I couldn’t have a better experience...
