Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. I have never had a bad experience from either servicing a car or a purchase. Eddie in the service dept. is just plain GREAT to work with, period. Yes. I brought my truck in for recall work without an appointment. I spoke with Joey Desurne and he said it would be worked on as soon as possible, but l I brought my truck in for recall work without an appointment. I spoke with Joey Desurne and he said it would be worked on as soon as possible, but let me know that parts would have to be ordered. He also informed me that there were no loaners available which was disappointing as I needed my truck for work. Not his fault at all. It took a few days to get parts, but each time I texted Joey, he responded to let me know what was happening. Got my ride back and was very happy with the service and communication. Everyone was nice, Dean was especially helpful and Joey is top notch. Would not hesitate to use Utter again. More
