Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. Bill Utter Ford has always treated me very well, from the purchase of my first F150 super crew in 2001 to my last one in 2017 and all the others in between. Also the service is excellent! Shameless plug time, and I really wouldn’t do this unless I didn’t feel I was treated honestly and fairly through the entire process. I’ve never left a dealership feeling like I got a good deal and valued as a customer until today. *this isn’t to say they aren’t out there* but the guys over at Bill Utter Ford in Denton Texas really knocked it out of the park for me. Honest word of mouth recommendations help keep good businesses connected with customers, and this market is crazy enough with many dealers taking full advantage. My sales POC Cory Cuellar was extremely patient with me the entire time. Dealing with my constant check ins and nagging on when my truck would get here. 4.5 months abouts. I even canceled on him half way through bc I was fed up. He stuck with it though and got me my truck. Thanks to all the guys in finance Jacob FreemanJustin Wayne and Eduardo Sanchez. Super open and transparent. Never waivered from the agreed upon pricing from months back, and got me the best deal I could have asked for in this ridiculous time. The minute the truck hit their lot, these guys had me out and on the road in two hours. Put Bill Utter Ford on your list of dealers to call if your in the market or thinking about it. More
