Incredible people. I showed up with a bad transmission the day after Thanksgiving a short time before closing. I was down from Nebraska and lucky enough to have trouble at their off ramp from I35. They were able to get me in immediately since I was from out of town. They thought it was an oil pan but couldn't fix it until Monday. They set me up with a loaner car at Enterprise and I continued my trip to Houston. They found out Monday it was a bad transmission and worked to jump through all the hoops the extended warranty required. They got approval late Wednesday and were lucky enough to have a transmission available Thursday afternoon. The mechanic worked extra fast to get the transmission installed on Friday and told me I could pick it up Saturday morning. I picked it up and headed out of town. I got 40 miles out of town and the transmission started to have shifting issues so I turned around and went back to Bill Utter. It was mid afternoon but they got it right in and the mechanic tried a few things and ended up staying two hours after closing to help me out. He was unable to get it fixed so I got a hotel for the weekend and brought it back Monday morning. The same mechanic went right to work on it while I waited. They had a round table amongst the transmission guys and one of the other mechanics suggested a simple fix. They tried it and problem solved. The problem was very unusual and caused at the factory. After the fix they had me on my way quickly and I got home with no more issues. Thanks to Karina for getting me in quick from the start and following through to make the process fast and pointless. Thanks to the mechanic for staying late and working hard to get me going. I also wanted to thank the parts guy who was by himself the day I needed a tow hitch sleeve to fit my loaner truck. He took the time to walk outside with various sleeves that fit the truck to make sure I got the right one. He was in the middle of his working lunch and had mechanics waiting for parts but he took the time to help and was extremely pleasant about it all. Thank you to all who helped out. More
Bill Utter’s service department takes good care of my vehicle and I never have to wait very long when I schedule upfront. The waiting area is clean and appealing, and there is fresh coffee and water.
