Brought in a Nissan with bumping and rumbling when car runs over 40 miles per hour. Diagnosis after test drive: 1) drive shaft needs to be replaced; 2) tires need to be replaced; 3) brakes, front and back runs over 40 miles per hour. Diagnosis after test drive: 1) drive shaft needs to be replaced; 2) tires need to be replaced; 3) brakes, front and back need to be repaired; 4) 4 new tires. Total cost $3000 plus. Charged me $145 for diagnosis and one page printout of "official diagnosis". Took the car to Harrell and Beverly, dealer in Sanford since 1959. After test drive reported 2 wheels nearly to threads due to cross rotating tires previously which cannot be done with this car. Checked brakes and drive shaft and found nothing wrong. No charge for inspection. Took car to Tire Kingdom. Tires replaced and rebalanced with education NEVER to cross rotate in the future. Checked brakes and found nothing wrong. Total cost $942 for 4 tires. Always get a second opinion!! We saved $2100 on unneeded repairs. Good grief!!!! Hard to trust a dealer when you have this kind of experience. Everyone is very nice; they are courteous and helpful. They just FABRICATE repairs needed to increase revenue. More
I contacted David about a Nissan Cube I believe it was and that was my first mistake. From there, David tried to contact me about other cars, saying he would bring them to work for me to look at them, con and that was my first mistake. From there, David tried to contact me about other cars, saying he would bring them to work for me to look at them, constantly calling and texting me. I appreciate that. I really did. Until he became constant. I told him my schedule didn't add up, told him I wasn't I trested, and even told him I'd go to look but no deals. Reminder, I said no deals, no payment, nothing. I told him I only wanted to look at a car. After a week gone by I caught COVID-19. I told him I was unable to make it and had to cancel. He got very aggressive and told me to wear a mask and I would be fine. I told him I was uncomfortable putting others at risk. He told me if I wore a mask and didn't tell anyone, especially his GM then I should be okay. So feeling pressured and forced, I ended up driving to the wrong address which he sent me. I called him and asked him where the dealership was, and he came me a completely different address. I love about an hour and a half away. When we get there, I was greeted by someone else and told them I was here for David. They were very nice and brought David out. I went for a test drive and coming back, I almost missed the turn to go back into the Dealership so I obviously broke hard. The breaks didn't seem stable at all. That was my first worry. Then there was corrosion on the batter. There was a recall for this car (stated carmax) so I asked him about it and he went to his GM and they said it was only for the hood. When asking further questions about the car, he continually and gradually got aggressive. That was my second red flag. I loved the car except for what was wrong with it. I went inside and he pressured me into putting a payment down to reserve it for me. Before I gave him my card I asked him if I'm able to back out of this anytime. He said "it doesn't seem like you want this car" I told him "I do, but I don't know if this is the right one for me. I have to consult my father first". My father is helping me pay for the car so I do need his input. David then got very aggressive and in a yelling voice "so you don't need a car then?!" I was shaking. I felt harassed this whole experience. As a younger woman, I felt an easy target for him. He eventually got over heated and said "you know what, let me get my GM". I was about to be in tears. My significant other was right next to me as shocked as I was. We were about to collect our things and leave until we heard them walking back. While they were walking back, my other and I heard "did you get her on this one?!" It felt like a scam. Everything about this felt like a scam. I was feared and frightened. They both stood at the door what for what seemed like to keep us in David's office. I didn't know if David would hurt us or not. We talked to the GM and he tried convincing us more. We ended up telling both of them no and the GM was more understanding than David. My other and I got back into our car, I cried and we had to pull off somewhere cause of David's actions. I really hope David gets let go, or some may say fired. His actions were not justifiable and no one should ever have to deal with other what we did. More

Sales person was nice, but we found Bo Rhodes the sales manager to be arrogant, condescending, patronizing, and spiteful. Got a great deal- somewhere else. manager to be arrogant, condescending, patronizing, and spiteful. Got a great deal- somewhere else. More
