She was very helpful and made sure we got the car we wanted. The sales person we dealt with was Derek. We made an appointment before going into the dealership. We were on time, Derek was on time. All of our transaction went well, they knew from the get-go what we wanted and we knew what to expect. This dealership did not have the vehicle we wanted but got right on it, got it ordered and we were able to pick it up as agreed on time. We also dealt with Oscar the "finance guy". No pressure but down to earth truthfulness and above board honesty. Overall, this was a good experience, frankly, having dealt with this dealership in years past, we expected no less and we were not disappointed. More
Lies, deceit, and harassment. I was in Bill Pearce yesterday with the paperwork being drawn up to purchase a vehicle. A few issues were had: 1. After test driving one car, I ask I was in Bill Pearce yesterday with the paperwork being drawn up to purchase a vehicle. A few issues were had: 1. After test driving one car, I asked to test drive a second. I was left in the sun for 30 minutes waiting for the salesperson, Dudley, to return with plates. The entire test drive he seemed visibly annoyed and constantly checking his phone. When we returned he said park in front and immediately jumped out and ran after another customer. 2. When I decided on the car I wanted to purchase (car #2), informed Bill Pearce that I am approved through USAA and I don't need financing through them. I was told by the woman helping me, Irina, that I would have to do a "restructuring" through Bill Pearce finance and then Bill Pearce will send it to USAA to complete. This immediately drew a red flag. I called USAA immediately. My bank informed me that's not how this process happens and they will fax over the required documents to Bill Pearce. When this was told to Irina, again, another visibly annoyed employee. I was again left alone while this being being looked at. 3. Next, when I received a price breakdown with my trade in. I noticed a price discrepancy. Bill Pearce was charging me twice for "dealer/documentation fees." I received a TrueCar price through USAA that did not have the double fees. The fee was documented twice: First as a "dealer fee," second as a "documentation fee." When I showed Irina the TrueCar guaranteed price I was left alone for another period of time. She returned and it was fixed. 4. When I asked about a second undisclosed ("Sec. Etch" fee) the finance person, Irina, could not explain what is was. The explanation is was given was attributed to the finance department for having to explain the process to me. My issue: I was not going through Bill Pearce to do the financing. When I pushed the issue a man in a white Bill Pearce polo came up to the table (whom I had not have any interaction with previously) and started roaring comments at me for asking a question about a fee. I felt threatened. I asked for my keys, kindly told Irina to have a good evening, and left. The whole experience was incredibly unprofessional. This establishment--and its employees--lack compassion, respect, and honest convictions. The man in the polo's actions bordered harassment to the point it made me uncomfortable--no customer should ever feel threatened. I will not, nor I will ever, recommend this Bill Pearce to anyone.
