It felt like the red carpet treatment. Wayne spent the time to show me how to use the car and the equipment and even synced my phone. One of my least favorite things is buying a car. Wayne made it so easy for me. I emailed the paperwork around 3 on Friday afternoon and by 5 it was approved. He had everything ready to go when I got there on Saturday morning. It was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. THANK YOU SO MUCH. More
My experience with Tony was great. He checked my car in immediately and did a walk around. We discussed a few issues that he said he would check on. Dean Marino is always very helpful, friendly and courteous. I do however, have one complaint about the technical service that was done on my car. I told Dean that I heard a squeaking sound for sev courteous. I do however, have one complaint about the technical service that was done on my car. I told Dean that I heard a squeaking sound for several weeks that occurred when I slowly came to a stop. He relayed that information to the technicians, however, upon picking up my car, Dean said that the technicians never heard the squeaking sound when they test drove the car. Thinking it was a possible brake issue, the technicians evaluated the brakes and the brake pads which were apparently fine. Therefore, they were unable to find the cause of the noise. I insisted to Dean that it was impossible for them to not have heard the noise since it had been a squeaking sound that was starting to occur more and more frequently. When I picked up my car, Dean offered to take a test drive with me to see if he could hear it. Sure enough, while I was driving in the parking lot, within three to five minutes, the noise occurred. In fact, it occurred about four times during the 10 minutes we were test driving the car. Dean lowered his window and listened to the noise, reassured me it was not my brakes and said "whatever it is, it's not life threatening". I trust Dean and I appreciate that he took the time to pursue the noise, however, I am concerned that the technicians didn't take either the necessary or additional time to test drive my car long enough to hear and/or properly diagnose the noise. My car is due for an oil change in 2000 miles. I'm hoping the technicians will be able to diagnose and fix the noise at that point. More
Dean Marino has been an absolute pleasure to work with anytime I have had the car for in for service. He makes sure the work is performed correctly and more importantly does not have unnecessary work per anytime I have had the car for in for service. Prior to coming to Bill Kidd's Volvo, my husband and I went to another Volvo dealership, where I had previously purchased a Volvo 9 years prior. The attention and service that I received were horrible, an went to another Volvo dealership, where I had previously purchased a Volvo 9 years prior. The attention and service that I received were horrible, and the inventory left little to be desired. Not receiving the experience I expected at the prospect of making a major purchase, we left that dealership and headed to Bill Kidd's Volvo. From the moment we entered the lot and saw the vastly larger selection of XC90s, our mood lightened. Within five minutes, a salesman (Wayne Cernik) approached us warmly, offered a test drive and then began telling us all of the wonderful features of the car I was seeking. We knew instantly he was the right salesperson and this was the right dealership. He was knowledgeable and accommodating, but not pushy -- which was very well received. Two and a half hours later, I purchased the car at Bill Kidd's Volvo. It was such a pleasant experience -- from beginning to end. I felt I got the best car, at the best price, with the best salesman. I couldn't be more pleased. More
