Mr Koenig, I apologize for the transfer case failure after the oil change was performed on your vehicle. The failure was not a result of performing the oil change but a internal bearing in the transfer case failure. As discussed with your wife the transfer case is apart and you our more than welcome to see the internal failure. Anytime a failure of this nature occurs it is costly. The important thing is that it happened when we pulled up the vehicle. It could have been much worse had the transfer case locked up while driving. In addition the dealership discounted the repairs and final cost was under 1900.00. If you are interested in seeing the transfer case just let me know and I can have the Master Technician who worked on it go over the failure and damaged internal parts with you.

I apologize about the miscommunication on picking you up after service of your vehicle. We don't always have someone available to pick customers up at the time of repair completion. As discussed at time of pick up the dealership agreed to reduce your invoice by the amount of alternate transportation costs you incurred but you did not allow us to do so.
