I had inquired through other dealers as well that same evening, but only got an auto reply Email from them that they would be contacting me soon. It had only been aprox 15min since I submitted the inquiry through GM's Military Discount web site when Bill called. I had spent the whole day (Sat)before at another dealership here in Dekalb with no luck, they kept trying to sell me other silverado's that didn't have the options I was looking for and never once mentioned anything about the Military discount? The dealership in Dekalb did give me a good offer for my trade and a written final price for a new silverado, which I took to Bill Kay Chevrolet on Monday. Bill Baresch not only worked with me and beat the price, but also ensured that I got everything I was looking for in the truck. I was very impressed with his willingness to help and actually listening to what I wanted, not trying to sell me something I didn't want like the previous dealership in Dekalb. I had to wait a long time to get through the finance process once a decision was made on the vehicle but that was because they were short staffed due to an employee being sick.
