I am still concerned about a Leak by Timing Chain Cover, My New Battery seems to be having Issues not staying Full I like My Service Tech, as well! I am still concerned about a Leak by Timing Chain Cover, My New Battery seems to be having Issues not staying Fully Charged, and , I’m still feeling Vibrating and Bouncing in Acadia. My Service Tech replaced Suspension Parts and did Alignment,Wheel Balance /Tire Rotation, so, What Else could be Wrong with Acadia Suspension or Wheels? More
This dealer is extremely shady and they do not care about the customer or your business. We were going to purchase a vehicle for our daughter but noticed the check engine light was on. Naturally we inquired the customer or your business. We were going to purchase a vehicle for our daughter but noticed the check engine light was on. Naturally we inquired and were told by the salesman that the gas cap wasn't secured properly causing the light to come on. My husband was not happy with the answer and brought this up as we were closing the deal with the sales manager Joe. Joe then accidentally disclosed that the 02 sensor needed to be replaced and that was the reason for the check engine light. Knowing they were caught in a lie they tried to get the deal by promising free leather seats and a lower price. We didn't feel good about the dealer and left. When I was driving away I received a call from the dealership "buyer" who assured me the dealer did not do business like this and he wanted to make it right. After we discussed it we decided that if we could receive a written warranty for 3 months or 3,000 miles we would make the purchase. They agreed to this but said they were going to "reinspect" the vehicle before they would give said warranty. Keeping in mind they do a 120 point inspection before anyone drives a car on the lot we were hopeful it would be ok. The mechanics found faulty valves. If we had driven the car off the lot and not asked for the warranty we would have had a failed engine in no time. Well this was on 8/02/2022, it is now 8/24/2022 and we have no car, no ETA of parts and have been told by sales manager Joe if we don't like it go buy a car elsewhere. My daughter is devastated and so are we. It is a tough time to buy a car. Please do yourself and your family a favor and stay far away from Bill Kay. They do not care about you, and they do not "inspect" cars well enough to uncover something as serious as faulty valves with their 120Point inspection. More

I took my Yukon in for a recall for the airbag. Service tells me that the service airbag light still will not go off cuz it has a bad sensor too. What? No, I don’t have $$ to fix that today conside Service tells me that the service airbag light still will not go off cuz it has a bad sensor too. What? No, I don’t have $$ to fix that today considering I also have a head and tail light issue getting fixed today. They put in new part for airbag and fixed my lights to the tune of $500. Was I scammed on the air bag cuz it still doesn’t work? Who knows. Just felt like I was charged a ton for getting my lights fixed and not much explanation. More
I brought my 2017 low mileage enclave in to have the air conditioning fixed. One Nearly 90° Evening I got in my car to head to Naperville and the AC just would not come on. I called Bill KayGMC to see conditioning fixed. One Nearly 90° Evening I got in my car to head to Naperville and the AC just would not come on. I called Bill KayGMC to see if I could bring my car in the next day but they did not have an opening immediately. I went there after work anyway just to see if they could try to put some Freon in and see if it would help (since we had blistering heat and I was running errands to try to prepare for my daughter‘s graduation party ) I figured we would find the leak by the time my appointment was two days later. They ended up putting the Freon in And found the leak right away, so they had me leave my vehicle because they just got a loaner back in that they were able to give me to use under my warranty. While I have low mileage on my Enclave, the manufactures warranty was passed, but I had bought an extended warranty when I purchased the vehicle in 2019. Kim in the service department worked with me and managed to get through to the warranty company and get my initial repair ( replacing the evap core) covered. initially they thought it was just to replace the evaporator core but then later realized the compressor itself was out. The warranty company had no issue okaying the Evaporator core but since the compressor was a much bigger repair they did have quite a delay in getting everything fixed because The warranty company now had to send an adjuster out to inspect the vehicle and okay the repair. After Kim went back-and-forth with them , The warranty company had to be the ones to send the compressor instead of Buick using one of their own and this did cause a significant Delay, but that was on the part of my warranty company. Kim did keep in touch with me the whole time. They also initially gave me a loaner that I believe my warranty company paid $40 a day for. Once I got my vehicle back, I still had additional issues in that the air conditioning would not come on right away so I had to bring it back in. This was an undiagnosed problem After the initial repair of the evaporator core and compressor. The bad compressor apparently blew out the the module so things weren’t being read correctly internally to turn the air conditioning on. Again, Kim had to deal with the warranty company and managed to get everything taken care of with the warranty company. I had to bring my vehicle back in once they receive the module part… They replaced it the next day and my air-conditioning is finally working, thank goodness! I want to thank him for all her hard work and staying in communication with me throughout this long ordeal. I think they did a very good job. They did not try to tell me I needed all this work done right up front because they took it one step at a time and found the problems as each step got fixed. My Warranty company sent out an independent adjuster to approve all repairs so I have no doubt that everything they did was on the up and up. This would’ve been a very expensive repair so I’m very glad I bought that extended warranty. Thank you to Kim for all of your hard work in managing to get everything taken care of! More
